I didnít need to summon help to do Demonís Souls. I found it substantially easier than other Souls games I have tried (and generally given up on).

I have only finished this and the first Dark Souls and I found Demonís Souls far less draining. In fact I finished Demonís on a high, whereas I was completely burned out after finishing Dark.

And I am a certainly got particularly skilled. Far more stubborn than anything. I did level up far more than I was supposed too and finished at about level 100. It also took me about 65 hours which is substantially over par.
I'm about two-thirds completed and soul level 141. nothing wrong with being prepared (for death). Giant depraved cunts hit hard, need souls.
Apart from Allant the other later bosses are all pretty easy. I did most first time which is in stark contrast to the earlier bosses that I struggled with.
The only bosses I've really struggled with throughout the game were Flamelurker and Maneaters. Both took a number of attempts. Flamelurker was most frustrating as it took ages to get back to him falling down that hole, and sometimes dying in the process.

I did struggle with the Tower Knight in some regard, despite killing it first time. Never really got his moves and dodge timing down. Took a ton of damage. Only saving grace was he is easy to hide and heal from. Used about 20+ half moon grass.

Some bosses could clearly be hard or difficult depending on character and strategy. For example, I killed the Adjudicator with a bow from above, never coming to ground level. Face to face with only a melee attack, he'd have been much harder.

I actually struggled with Adjudicator from the top and found him stupidly easy if I fought him downstairs.

The new patch for Fallen Order has it looking a lot sharper.

Finished Days Gone as my first game on the PS5. Honestly, an awesome game that completely took me by surprise after the ĒmehĒ reviews at launch. It looks (and sounds) amazing on PS5 and after the slow and kind of tedious/generic start the game was a blast.
Story was well written imo and the combat and shooting in particular was very satisfying. Idk, actually felt a bit sad that the game ended after 44 hours. There is still a lot of stuff to do but once the story ends I kind of call games finished.

After playing the game I had to re-read eurogamers review of the game and wtf happened there... Reads like she played the first three hours, called it generic open world without powerful female characters and stomped on the game... there was so much more to the game than the review stated. I hope they make a sequel!

The story continues a bit after the credits roll, iirc. You get a handful more missions.

I was put off by the EG review of DG, but the positive voices over here make me really want to play it. Iíve since learned the reviewer is more effect than any substance and have been avoiding their output.

Seriously? I must be past halfway at least? Really enjoying it, but I feel like I should be getting near the end.

@monkman76 From the top of my head I would say you are around the ballpark of 35-45% done with the story, so you still have a lot to do.

And thx for the tip that the story Ēkind ofĒ continues, Iím itching to go back so might need to do those then. And I have a whole lot of hordes to kill etc but since those are more like challenges, not really going for all the extras.

Sure some of the tasks started to get a bit repetitive but the combat is fun and punchy. I liked that the enemies were never such bulletsponges that they were like in Uncharted. It was satisfying to drop them with headshots etc.

I played this and God of war at the same time and eventually I actually was more immersed in Days Gone. =p

You genuinely have another 40% of the game left. Itís ridiculous.

@monkman76 I donít want to spoil anything but I can see how you feel that way. But the game kind of takes you in a new direction at some point and opens up. :)

Christ. Talk about throwing away a lead. Not sure I've got the stamina.

I'm in the very early stages of Days Gone on the PS5, I think it's pretty good up til now. I've always tried to complete all the side quests in these type of games but I'm trying to just play the main story and if something distracts me just go with it. Seems to be working well so far.

@PierrePressure Yeah that was my method of playing as well. In the end I clocked in about 44 hours. A lot of side missions in that but still a lot more to do as well. The game is long enough for some of the side quests to start feel repetitive so I wouldn't hunt all of those down methodically.

My tip would be that out of all the side stuff you have, always be on the lookout for stuff related to NERO. Try to do the NERO checkpoints and research sites for injectors at some point. Other than that just go with the flow. :)

I loved Days Gone. I got the platinum trophy and it really didn't feel like it took much effort. Most trophies were obtained by the time I saw the end credits roll.

Every time I see this thread bumped, I'm straight in hoping it's something to do with new stock arriving.
I knew things would be bad, but this is worse than I expected. If I'm not wrong, there were pre-orders, then more stock at launch day, and then nothing since?

    I do the same.

Iím assuming Sony are holding off until they can deliver millions of units all at once rather than drip feeding stock that would just vanish to scalpers immediately

@Wayne There were a couple of stock drops in November and December, but fewer than I think people were expecting. The various stock tracking discords remain your best bet for the time being, though I've not seen large-scale movement on either the PS5 or the XBSX so far in January.

Sony have the audacity to be now launching the console in regions like India before they can even manage to get stock the real markets like the UK that they have supposedly launched in already. Bastards. Maybe ensure the current markets can actually have stock before going for a global launch?

Yeah how dare they give it to India when people in the UK still want one.

Exactly, ridiculous. The Japanese don't seem bothered looking at the sales over there. Give all stock to the Great British realm, we Brits have proven time and time again we are to best and deserve to come first. Just look at our covid numbers, we are the best in Europe.

Did you check if this post was a stock arriving notification? Nah... just me saying I got one on launch day and haven't used it much :)
