It is staggering how many massive companies have such awful websites and support. The bigger they are, the more it seems to be an issue. Especially for former incumbents and those with loads of legacy back end systems.

I had to go through the app to download Minecraft. It just refused to recognise I owned it on the console

    Yeah tried all the above.

But as Doug's says: it's the level of support that the most annoying. It's only 12 quid (PS4 Everybody's Golf that is supposed to work on PS5) but fucksakes Sony. I've gota 14 day cooling off period to claim a refund even if I am being thick.

    Just honestly shockingly bad support.

@chopsen is it possible to go to your recent transactions through the console? Users and Accounts, Account, payments and subscriptions, transaction history. That's how I last raised a refund on PS4 anyway..

    Cheers...but didn't work.

It looks like a psn store level thing.

It's show up as unbought in the store (shows a price, not a download button), but if I click on that it says "you've bought this".

And the money's charges to my credit card, and have received an email confirming it.

Also doesn't show up in game library.

    It's fucked from their end.

BUT THERE IS NO WAY OF CONTACTING THEM.
Had exactly the same issue a few months ago when I wanted to refund Minecraft Dungeons. I ended up refunding Cyberpunk, out of spite, because there was a big big button that let me do just that without any hassle.

Certainly no coincidence though. They want to make it as annoying as possible for you before they pay you back even a single penny.

It took me 2 to 3 months to finally get a refund off them for a game bought in October. They made me go through the most long winded processes multiple times. I'd email back to confirm I had done them with no fix. Only to be emailed back 2 or 3 weeks later asking me to now re do them and video the results.
I made the mistake of saying the error also happened on my 2nd profile which then made them go back to square one and ask me to do everything again on that profile as well.

It went on and on and on until I had so much video, photo and account info to prove 1 I'd not played more than 1 minute of game play prior to contacting and at most an hour through being made to capture footage.

Their final email said words to the effect of "while we suspect this is a user error in this instance we will refund. please wait up to 30 days for the refund to process. If I attempt to play the game in that time the refund process with be revoked and I won't be able to request again.

Really put me off buying digital unless I know for sure I'm going to enjoy the game.

With GOG, I've twice asked for a refund for 2 different games that I'd played a few hours of and got it refunded no questions asked within hours of contacting them.

Sony's response is to turn the lights off and pretend they're not home.

Certainly making me think twice for using their store again. Good job I went for a disc drive PS5.

Yeah they really are fucking abysmal, bought something and it was on sale a day later, hadn't played it but with the amount of information they were asking it felt like an interrogation. I've had no problems with Microsoft in that regard.

@chopsen Just to balance things out, it took GoG about 10 days to refund Cyberpunk for me when I had played less than 20 minutes of it, and they were unresponsive throughout.

I'm sure it does something, though I haven't played my PS5 in about 2 months so I can't remember what.

It takes you from game/app to the dashboard as a shortcut instead of pressing the PS button and then selecting 'home'.

If you are asking why it does nothing when the console is off? Then it means you have encountered a database bug and need to turn it on with the button on the front panel.

@ChrisOTR Yes, I've seen similar stories from others on GoG/Cyberpunk. I suppose GoG might have been a bit overwhelmed at the time, though, given they basically are CDPR and the volume of refund requests would have been many orders of magnitude higher than what they normally see.

Turns out at 82 quid with the service charge, not bad though.

Not if you add the code - it goes from 70-ish to 75 with the service charge.

Seems to be some kind of unofficial HyperX sale at amazon atm.

This seems to be the pick of the bunch. Really good VFM if youre after a wireless headset.

This is me restrained. Since I bought two HyperX products, I get notifications for price drops on the reg.

They are good, though, so I wouldnt say no to a brand deal as its a product I believe in.

I would take the plunge but don't really use headphones enough to warrant an upgrade over my old PS Gold set.

@monkman76 Worked out at 75.06 for me - good deal!

Does anyone know how much the actual PS Wallet limit is?

There doesn't seem to be a clear answer online. All I know for now is that I can't add this 100 top up to the 68 I already have in there as it exceeds the maximum allowed.

@Armoured_Bear as monkman points out, add the code. I paid 75.06 for 100 quid credit.

That takes one 70 quid brand new release down to 52.40 and then leaves 30 quid to buy a game or two on sale.

Only thing id point out is I had 90 quid credit already and i couldnt add the 100 never knew they had a limit on the wallet - makes me feel like kid Link in need of a giant wallet) so i went a preordered life is strange ultimate edition (was going to get it anyway, but wanted to wait...) to free some space.

Thanks, I don't see moneyman posts. I already have 113 quid In my wallet anyway but know any bargainous credit will get used.
