Anyone had screen flickering before? Had it on a few games now.

You tried a different HDMI? The supplied one seems a bit shit.

Annoyingly don't have a spare. A reset seems to work for a few days then it will happen again.

I'll just order a new one I guess.

@Rum_Monkey I have flickering on my ps5. Not sure on your TV model but mine isn't anything fancy (im defo due an OLED upgrade soon!) but if you go into video options there is an option on there that mentions flickering in 4K output and says change it to auto, -1, or -2. I'll have honest. I haven't the foggiest what it means but i put on -2 and it's stop flickering for me... soo there's that.

Yeah, I had like static on mine, white flickering dots across the picture. It was indeed due to a bad, long HDMI cable.

Which I found out after sending two HDMI switches back as defective.

I have everything connected to a HDMI switch which is connected to a HDMI splitter which then goes to the TV (and projector).

The best I've been able to get is after a minute to a couple of minutes of being turned on, whatever device is currently running will desync for a couple of seconds, come back and stay that way until turned off.

I've been through dots, white, green, blue, constant flickering, static on one or both halves of the screen, losing signal forever until you fiddle the cable. As far as I can tell, the HDMI plugs are just badly designed and prone to tiny signal loss on contacts.

Edit: in other words, it's indeed due to cables (or plugs from my experience), but it doesn't have much to do with much a cable cost. I've had problems with both cheap and expensive cables. My current setup is mostly composed of 1 pound cables and they work fine, or at least as fine as much more expensive ones do. The 10 m long projector cable was significantly more expensive and it does the desync thing just like the 1 pound cable to the TV.

Mmm. I'm struggling to get through it at the minute to be honest. I'm kind of bored.

The RRP is quite similar, the percentage reductions on the UK store are lower for some reason.

Time to turn on the VPN to buy credit from totallylegitkeys.ru and spend it in the Malaysian store.

20 quid for disco elysium, worth it?

Did they fix that weird button press issue that I read about on here?

Disco Elysium is definitely worth 20. Unsure if they fixed the thought cabinet.

Looks like my controller has that adaptive trigger clicking noise. Can't do anything to make it stop

Like an old tooth rattling in the controller, occasionally? Both of mine have this, and, as far as I can tell, from day 1.

I have 4 Dualsenses and they all do it. I've got used to it now. It happens when the adaptive trigger is about to kick in, like if you enter a scene where you might need to use it or equip a particular gun the controller will give a little click to engage trigger resistance.

It's constantly making a clicking noise. Not even in a game or touching the controller. Getting Amazon to replace it.

@SnackPlissken Wait, it's doing it all the time, you're not pressing anything? That's not what mine do, then.

edit: Just saw your other comment, ok. Yeah, get it replaced. :)

@UncleLou Yeah not pressing anything! It's mad. Tried WRC 9 to see what would happen and the adaptive triggers sounds very broke.

Mine sound weird as well, in games that use the adaptive triggers. They're clicking and clacking, and something's like rattling inside (not when I shake them, just when I use them).
