I've a 55" LG C9 OLED as the main TV which I won't get to put the PS5 on. Boo hoo! It'll be hooked up to the 49" LG (can't remember which model it is) in the office instead. It's 4k and HDR, but looks absolutely nothing like the C9!

I'm still in the honeymoon phase with my OLED, 1 month in (tomorrow).
It's the most impressive bit of entertainment tech I've bought.

You'll need to buy a bigger TV than that to ensure the PS5 looks like a to-scale console when put next to it. Perhaps a 120"?

But do they look similar to your phone?

I'm not sure the honeymoon phase ever goes away. Had mine almost a year and still love it.

Think I'm going to buy an OLED at some point next year. I've got a half decent 4K at the moment so that will do but I figure if I stall the TV purchase a bit later into the gen it will almost be like a mini mid-gen refresh for me.

I see derbs has gone from one extreme of being awkward and embarrassed about his exorbitant purchase, to rubbing everyone’s faces in it.

That's a weird way of looking at it, kal.
I've mentioned I have an OLED, like many others. You know exactly what I have because of another thread but I've not mentioned it in here.

To have the TV you do and NOT get excited about it would be doing it a disservice.

Loads of people casually drop the fact they have an Oled, Qled, whatever the fuck they are on here.
It's almost like a meme to me.

Still pondering. I need to cancel one. Makes sense to cancel the amazon one as I've paid for the argos one. Unless someone wants it, in which case I'll keep it.

I'll be running mine on a telly. The real reason I upgraded to a 4K thing is because my HD one has a big fucking scratch on it and I've been looking at it for 8 bloody years.

Talking of scratches. Finally get a new TV and I drop something on my kindle last night and put a big scratch in that instead. Now that's fucked. Balance in the force there is, always.

ok, so my ps+ ran out a week ago - I was waiting for a bit till I could find a cheap version, then I thought - how is ps+ going to work going forward with ps5?

Do I just need one sub for it, say on the ps5 and then that'll include the ps4 in my "package" so to speak? Surely I won't need to purchase one for each console? (I'm still going to use the ps4 in a different room for netflix, the odd game, shit like that etc)

Your PS+ carries over to the new console and exists on any legacy consoles you have also.
