| @BigOrkWaaagh You weren't wrong about the d-pad on the Switch's left joycon. Especially coming straight from MK9 on the Vita's nice d-pad. Might have to get one of those Hori joycons - would you recommend them? Do you use them for anything other than fighting games? |

I just don't take it off now, it's permanently attached. Initially I wasn't convinced there was a massive difference because to be honest I was always happy enough with the regular joy con, but I swapped it back while I was playing plague of shadows and it was like someone had sewn my fingers on upside down.

Registered 14 years agoLooks like they have patched in earning fatalities you haven't unlocked by performing them. I unlocked Kabal's second fatality on PS4 last night and Switch just now. -

Registered 14 years agoEven though it's just me talking to myself here, I think I'm going to sack off the PS4 version and stick to the Switch. I'm spending about 90% of my MK11 time on it and when I do get time on the PS4 version, I'm way behind where I am on Switch. Also the Kombat Pack actually looks pretty good and I don't fancy buying it twice.

Registered 15 years agoDepends what you're after, but the Switch version is a good travel companion.
Screw unlocking stuff twice though.
Also you've always been able to perform both fatalities, if you knew the input. Easy enough to google. -

This is true, but in MKX it would reveal the move in the menu after you performed it so you could look it up at a later date. In MK11 however, if you haven't unlocked it then you could still perform it but the move will still be hidden and locked in the moves menu so you could not refer back to it and unless you remembered it, then it is back to Google again.
That was until this latest patch. -

Just finished the story - a lot of fun!
Final boss was fight-bosstastic. Thought I was going to have to have to leave it at one point. -

Registered 14 years agoI'm enjoying the new league thing, although it's a bit annoying that the tournament variations you must use stripped one of my go to moves.
I don't profess to be very good at the game, but I seem to be holding my own. That is until someone decides to cheese me with Scorpion, which seems to be about 75% of the playerbase. -

Registered 8 years agoI've got back into this and very much enjoying it. With fighting games I just accept the fact I'm never really going to do more than button mash but actually starting to get to grips with Skarlet a bit and finished her first set of Towers of Time. There's no way I'm going to go online though. I'm far too shit. -

Registered 14 years agoWhat's the difference between getting a quitality and 'the game session is no longer available' because your opponent presumably pulled the plug? -
There's a days free trail on this on Xb1 if anyone's interested. And 40% off the game if you chose to buy it, £32.99. I got so much time out MKX, so I figured it was a safe bet. Played half the story, done a couple of towers, online matches and explored the Krypt. So much to do and it's so kool lol. Am going to get the character pack soon. -

There's a Terminator tower so you can play as The Terminator v ai even if you don't own the dlc. It's actually really well done and the voice actor is really good.

Registered 13 years agoTorn on whether to get this on PS4 (Pro) or my new One X. What’s the consensus on which controller has the better d-pad? -

I find PS4 far better for fighters specifically because of the D-Pad. XB1 is a massive improvement over 360 but it's still not as good as the PS4 imo.

I prefer the Xbox dpad but find the DS4s shoulder buttons much easier to use.
Which is, obviously, no help.
