Anyone picked this up? They've probably not picked the best time to put this one out with Days Gone around the corner, but I thought at £30 it was worth a punt. I have to say, this is as close to a Left 4 Dead sequel as we've had, albeit in third person. There isn't a gigantic amount of content levels-wise at the minute, but it seems to be massively replayable and there are some really cool set-pieces in each level and loads of customisation available with classes and weapons. Very decent budget title if anyone wants a co-op zombie fix. |

Registered 18 years agoAm enjoying it... very left for dead with a very good swarm mechanic. No bugs on xbox one - only played single player mind. -

Registered 12 years agoI had a connectivity issue last night but got on straight after a reset. Other than that, no bugs I've encountered so far. They seem to be very active and transparent on their social media RE: issues too.
A great little co-op game for the price. -

Playing on base PS4 I've encountered hard crashes where I've been bought to the title screen. I haven't played any of it online yet as I wanted to just do the first mission to see what it was like.

Pretty enjoyable, can see it been a right laugh with a few mates. Looks pretty nice for a budget game too. -

Registered 17 years agoThat actually looks quite fun. Is it only playable in co-op? -
@smoothpete It has bots if you want to play solo. -

Registered 17 years agoI've seen a couple of reviews of this and I'm really interested in it. I just need a couple of mates to pick it up to make it worthwhile. -

Registered 12 years agoIt's definitely better of you can get one or two friends on board. The games auto-fill currently (private lobbies are coming shortly) so it can be a bit annoying with flaky teammates. It's an absolute blast when you get a cohesive squad together though and the set pieces where you can see a literal tidal wave of zombies rushing towards you are absolutely brilliant. -

Registered 12 years agoYou can party up with friends but if you're in a squad of less than 4 it will auto fill the rest with randoms at present. They are bringing in private lobbies where you can fill the rest with AI in a patch soon. -

It's auto-filled spare slots with AI occasionally when it can't find other teammates. Although obviously you can't force this and it's prone to eventually filling the slot mid-level with a human teammate. But yeah, private lobbies would be handy, good to hear they're coming.

It's good fun, Left 4 Dead by way of Zombie Army Trilogy. Particularly satisfying on the higher difficulty levels as well.
Looks nice too, slightly less spangly looking than say The Division 2, but with 500 zombies on screen to boot.
I like it, the campaign doesn't look massively lengthy and it could do with a proper Horde mode, but for a budget release I'm not complaining. -

Registered 15 years agoHaving not had an Xbox since the 360, I had a real Left4Dead itch that needed scratching so bought this a few weeks ago for the PS4. It’s honestly massively exceeded my expectations, I’m never off it. For the price it’s at, I’m pretty sure most people will get their money’s worth from it even if they just played through the campaign a few times, but there’s loads of fun to be had in the multiplayer too (which i usually hate). -
