Anyway so far so good. Plays like doom with a mix of bulletstorm. Style and humour of Borderlands. More characterised than I thought it would be where you can talk to NPC's and there is a journal with their back story's etc.

Edit. Loving the male voice actors voice.

Map seems a good size. Vehicles pretty weighty but I've only tried one. Nice large upgrade tree with what seems like four upgrade paths.

So if Doom, mad Max and bulletstorm had a three some rage 2 would be the outcome.

Nothing amazing yet but it's good fun,I imagine it gets better as it goes as it seems very unlock heavy. Currently I've only got two abilities but it looks like there are dozens of unlocks.

Is the focus entirely on the open world and cities, or are there still dungeons like in the first game?

I think there maybe dungeons, I think I'm next to one right now but I need to do something before I can go below.

Humour generally pretty good. My first bounty hunt the targets crimes are "combining socks and sandals, indecent use of a mannequin and wearing skin tight jeans."

Runs at 60fps on X1X. Only looks like it's 1080p.

I did get a 13gb update also.
