Search function for forum

It looks like the ability to select the forum in the search function has been removed.

Is there another way to locate threads?

Forum search is still there. On mobile you need to swipe the category tabs to find it.

I do it via just typing into Google. The search function has been woeful for years. Also make sure you follow any thread you post in! easy tracking that way.

This

(Search term) site:community.eurogamer.net

Works just fine in Google

Edit: you can do the same but with the thread URL to search a particular thread eg. site:community.eurogamer.net/thread/335263 would search this one only
