Great isn't it. Watched the first 4 over the last few days and looking forward to the next one.

Episode 4 was proper grim. The dogs and the pregnant lady. Messed up

Just watched the first episode of Chenobyl.

Truely stunning. Both amazing and unbelievable at the same time.

So the final episode of Chernobyl aired last night stateside. Loved the way they did the episode and maintained the quality from the rest of the series. Jumps right into my list of favorite TV shows.

Looking forward to seeing it later.

Back to the topic, has anyone made a list of other decent stuff? I'm clearly too lazy to search

Yeah, I will need something to watch too, after finishing Chernobyl tonight.

Did recently finish Homeland S4 which was good. Is Season 5 good too?

    Yeah, looking forward to Watchmen.
Really fancied a rewatch of Band of Brothers / Pacific last night but they aren’t on Sky box sets anymore, BOO!

Looks like they've managed to keep the BBC cheapo Dr Who look out of Dark Materials too. Couple of moments where it nearly strays but it looks pretty much free of twee thankfully.

@Decks does look really good but I’m a bit bothered about the Lyra actress.

Looking forward to Euphoria next week. It's helped with my decision to keep Now TV sub going for a few more weeks (as well as Deadwood).

Chris Evans was banging on about Brassic, which starts in a few weeks. He claims he wasn't obliged to give good reviews, despite his show being paid for by sky, but I'm skeptical.

Brassic was shit. 1st episode had a few laughs, 2nd episode was excruciatingly bad.

I’ve started watching The Deuce. It’s great. Really feels like a spiritual sequel to The Wire.

I have heard good things about that.

And whilst I'm here, another recommendation for Succession. Tremendous

The Deuce is great, I noticed the third season just started but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

Sadly doesn't seem like the Deuce is available on Sky right now... maybe if the new series is gonna be on soon they'll put the box sets back on.

Brassic is great. Succession is great. The Deuce is great, but why isn't season 3 on Sky yet? I need it.

Yeah. It’s a bit awkward for me because I work alongside the PR team that have been bending over backwards for it to be a success. They really did go beyond the call for it and I really don’t want their efforts to be in vain, so I do hope that it finds an audience.

But while I can’t say it at work, I fucking hate the series. Whoever wrote the character of Cardi should never be allowed near a comedy series again. He’s funny cos he’s fat and he falls over! And poor Michelle Keegan is basically just there to get shagged and act like everyone’s mum.

Shit from beginning to end. Shit. Shit. Shit.

Second season coming next year, obviously.

I wanted to like it, as I love Joseph Gilgun but each character seemed a parody of a stereotype and the plot predictable and derivative. Couldn't even finish the 2nd episode.

Ep 2 was a lot worse than 1 but 3 was much more like 1. Haven't seen past that yet though.

Hmmm. May get to it at some point but I don't really like the characters at this point

If you dont like the characters I'm not sure the extra episode will change your mind, they dont. evolve in a way that will swing it for you.
