Meh, was ok direct nothing earth shattering and nothing out the blue to add to the watch list. Luigi looks great but not bothered about the online stuff of it. More Zelda is always a good thing, but looked darker than ever in that trailer. Hope itís not just a reskin of the world but it looked like the castle was about to take off so maybe it will go somewhere else.
Some of the games looked pretty ropy like wolfy and that contra game didnít look too hot from a resolution point of view (and possibly gameplay as well for the latter).
All in all didnít really move the needle anywhere really.

No SNES games was the painful bit.

I thought that the Nintendo Direct was good. Not overly exciting but some decent announcements and new stuff shown. New Zelda teaser is looking like the story is taking a very dark turn. It could be the darkest Zelda game created.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate has Dragon Quest and Banjo & Kazooie as DLC characters. I really thought that Nintendo was giving us Duck Hunt though. Laughing.

I guess it's impossible to please everyone, but I was rather pleased by it.

-Seiken Densetsu 3 finally in the West
    -Dark Crystal tactics
    -new Zelda
-Witcher 3 (though I don't know how it will run)

And a bunch of other stuff I already knew about, but either way it's looking very busy.

I think I'm finally going to have to admit to myself that Pikmin 4 is dead. Ever since Miyamoto did an interview back in the WiiU era where he mentioned it was almost ready, I've been waiting patiently for news.

I guess it never survived the change of focus to Switch development :(

All I wanted was the Metroid trilogy.
I was in a meeting until 7pm. I was hoping to come out to hear an announcement about this. Sad times!
They donít announce everything on the direct day so still time
True, but they also have a great and full looking line-up, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's not to be.
