Registered 15 years agoJust watched VaatiVidyas video on the trailer. He has included a few screenshot from the Japanese press release which I missed. Its looking better and better. Changing weather and time of day as well. -

Registered 15 years agoI’m not really up on the preview detail but maybe that’s enough to mix up the formula a bit and freshen things up- same great lore, environments and beasties but more of a dynamic free flowing environment. -

Registered 15 years agoVaati seems to think that enemy encounters will differ depending on the weather and time of day eg you will be able to sneak up on certain enemies easier at night in the rain.
He also suggested that there maybe a mechanic that allows you to place your own bonfire down, say before a boss - something From were experimenting with when making DS3. -

To be honest that just sounds like a Souls game with additional generic fantasy elements. Search and replace 'Hollowed' with 'Tarnished'.

Registered 16 years agoBuild diversity is back! This sounds like the anti-Sekiro. Ass temps thoroughly cranked.
It does sound kind-of like the open world is just a big field in between the six main dungeons (and some smaller side-dungeons), but I have no problem at all with that. -
