| I didn’t know there’s a jump!! Although it sounds pointless it will make running through the monastery somewhat more enjoyable. |

Registered 15 years agoIf you just go to inventory and choose the character, the list on the right is everything you own in that category. So on the Lance tab it'll list all the Lances you own, which is in the inventory of other characters and any in the convoy. Just pick one not already in a character's inventory and it'll be taken out of the convoy. -

10 hours in now and about half of my team have hit their intermediate class. -

Registered 7 years agoJust a bit ahead of that i would say, got 3 left that are 8 or 9. Remember to hold off actually speccing your intermediate class until you’ve mastered the beginner class, nice little stat boost from it, same with unique to beginner too. -

Registered 14 years agoThis game could really use a good manual. That said, I'm getting the hang of it now. Still needing to use time pulse occasionally to not lose people in the early battles, but definitely learning the systems better and taking much less damage as a result.
It seems the universal "hit them from where they can't hit you" works as well here as it does everywhere else. -

Registered 9 years agoMost of the team have their beginner classes now, but it's been a bit tough to get keep everyone on a similar level to each other. Only being able to battle once a month makes it rough.
I know you can do the optional battles. But those take up time that could be used for training and such. -

Registered 15 years agoIts taking a bit of getting used to not been able to "grind" as it were as I do quite enjoy that.
What difficulty are people playing on? I started on hard but i'm having to rewind alot. Does it affect how much damage the enemy does? I think I might just be bad at this tactical games. I seem to think i'm in a good spot and I just get killed. Maybe its because I started as the blue guys and most are melee focussed. -

Registered 9 years agoI personally don't like grinding. But if you do, switch back to Normal. You can grind as much as you want. -

Yeah I’ve been doing the same, you don’t get the same experience in skills as you do with lectures but levelling up attributes is so important and the battles really help you with that.

Yeah, I ended up settling for one optional battle, two explores (I was tempted by the mystery fish) and a seminar. I went for the riskier battle for more xp, and now everyone's at level 5 at the end of chapter 3.

Registered 15 years agoI feel like seminars aren't all that useful at the moment, exploring seems better as you can raise motivation that way anyway plus you can fish and garden for free to get gifts etc and raise teacher rank. -

Registered 9 years agoIt depends. There are some skills that my MC just can't effectively teach (because he hasn't learned much himself), so I use seminars for those if I can. And they're also one of the only ways the MC themselves can learn.
The motivation boost for the following week can be handy too. -

I've a mind to just kill them myself. -

Registered 16 years agoPlayed a bit more this afternoon. In the middle of chapter 3 now and, after a bit of grinding (I'm not on hard mode), have most of my characters into their beginner jobs. Relationships also starting to progress... this is all feeling very familiar from Fates. Not that that's a bad thing. -

There's probably one in the yellow house, if you don't mind your love interests looking like children. Maybe Leonie.

But it takes a good while to recruit people, in my experience. I've been buttering up someone from Black Eagles for ages now, and still no dice. -

Registered 10 years agoOk thanks, not just about love interests, I like the idea of a group of badass bitches.
Still finding it hard to find an easy place to check everyone’s abilities and things.
The support menu merely shows you the affinity, and not the individuals skills, the roster is a decent set of menus but only applicable to your recruited members.
This is all rather complicated for a newb like me, also can’t see a simple explanation of all the different things, I get strength and dex etc but there’s also loads of game specific traits as well but no glossary? Unless I’ve missed it.
Probably being a bellend but it’s all a lot to track and remember. -

They’ll cost. On your character screen it should tell you how many points you have for relaxing/teaching/battles
The ones that cos are likely quests also i believe
