I think that, if it's raining and he can't go out, James Dyson should just hunker down and get to work on that Dyson Cockblaster 5000 for Pes. EDIT Oh hai new page Edited by Ror at 22:46:19 23-06-2019 |

I've been playing GT Sport online quite a bit recently. I'll do what I think is a respectable lap time, be quite happy with myself, then check the top times leader board and find I'm about 5 seconds off the pace.
I’m 40 and have always loved car sims. My pace in them has dropped dramatically over the last decade. Retirement age should be 40! -

I can still complete solo games on the hardest difficulty but I get completely destroyed at all forms of competitive online play. -

Registered 8 years agoI'm 40 with 1 kid (turned 12 today!) and even though I'm not that great at competitive online, I still get a thrill from not knowing how most games will end.
Still enjoying Apex Legends with random players as the game is never the same and I usually do OK even if I don't get a win.
My son loves gaming and has finally got bored of Fortnite!. He's moving onto Pubg and wants a gaming pc for Christmas so we can play together properly.
I do find I do most of my gaming between 3-7pm between picking the kid up from school and cracking on with making tea etc. I always have intentions of a late night 11-2am session, but as others have mentioned, I've woken up with a controller in my hands far more times than I'd like to admit!
Daily life is busy and with family in the mix you have to get the time in when you can. I don't think it's necessarily an age thing, it's just life getting in the fucking way! -

Registered 2 years agoI’m 28, and in the last few years have found it harder to knuckle down and play games without being worried that other aspects of my life would suffer. I’ve recently started at the gym again and my energy levels have skyrocketed. I also stick to one main game at a time, and have a 5 game ‘to beat’ shelf so I can focus better. I find I’m a lot better when I play games now.. -

Then I’m five years from 3 pisses a night? Better make them count. -

Nearly 48, have managed to find a bit more time for gaming recently but it's a snatched 45 mins early morning or late evening. Gone are long sessions. And yeah, I'm really rubbish at games now. Far too many combos to remember -

I’m the same age - 48 in June. My enthusiasm is undiminished, and the kids now being teenagers means that I have a bit more time to game than I used to. I’m also better at finishing things since I did the pigwhip challenge in 2019. However, the kids-being-teenagers thing means being shown up regularly. It started when my now 16yo was 13, and completed Dark Souls so many times he was doing it for fun to try out new builds. Now his brother is 13 and has just beaten the new Demon’s Souls on NG+.

Aside from breaking my sodding toe on the box I left in the hallway a few days ago.
My gaming prowess was unaffected. -

Registered 9 years ago41. Still fine at PvP shooters, but fighting games are a struggle. Even the story mode in Tekken 7 at default difficulty gives me trouble, and online is frankly embarrassing -
