If there's still anything on the list you want, do a post below and I'll suggest some times I might be on IRC to pass them over. Requests are currently OFFLINE. Request limits now lifted - just ask for whatever you want. As per the last thread, following the demise of forum PMs, requests now work a bit differently.. Requests will be taken and responded to using Internet Relay Chat, aka IRC, aka "multiplayer notepad". I will be online as "Rogue1" on the Quakenet network, in the #egspares channel. There are three main ways you can get on to make a request. 1) Easiest option - use the web-portal at https://webchat.quakenet.org/ and join the channel #egspares - once you're online (only takes a few seconds) you will see usernames on the right hand side of the screen. Click on "Rogue1" (that's me) and click "query". This will open a private chat window with me and you can just make your requests into that window. I will respond there with your codes. 2) Download a Windows/Mac IRC client. There are lots of these - mIRCis probably the most popular, but there are others. If you're using a proper client, you shouldn't even need to join channels (though feel free to join #egspares anyway). Just open a query windows with me and type in the names of the games you want. 3) On mobile/tablet devices, there are a few clients you can grab. Mutter is my preferred iOS client, but again there are others. Steps for requesting codes are the same as per 2) above, though I generally find IRC from a mobile a bit of a pain. Remember, for this system to work, I need to be online and you need to stay online until I respond with your codes (my status is near the top of this post). I will try to turn all requests around within 15 minutes. When I'm not at my PC, I will change the top of this post to indicate that requests are offline. Once you've got your codes, you can either redeem them immediately, or copy-paste them into a text file or similar for later use. Note that from this thread forwards, I'm getting more aggressive on "retiring" unwanted codes. If a code has been through two of these threads without being taken, I remove it from the list. They all still exist, so if you think a code not taken in the last thread is something you might want, ask away. Removing these older codes makes it easier for me to manage the thread and for you to sort the wheat from the chaff. As ever, props to fellow forumites who have donated codes. Things seem to be going well so far, albeit with most of the requests from the A-List.
It's been an odd few months. Very few decent "traditional" bundles, but some very good bespoke offers and multi-purchases.
For those wondering where games like Monster Hunter World (which haven't been in bundles) come from - mostly from real life friends who get them via graphics card pack-ins and the like (I don't take ones which are hardware locked).
Those real-life friends do also sometimes make requests, which is why I've never set any kind of post-count limit on these threads. -

Registered 16 years agoAlso, I'm going to add a tip-jar here. Normally, I get suggestions for these, but this time, I'm going to put forward my own.
Yesterday, there was an arson attack on the main studio of Kyoto Animation, which claimed more than 30 lives. KyoAni (as they're generally known) are one of Japan's main anime studios and an absolute lynchpin of the industry. In a cut-throat industry whose working conditions generally make the games industry look benign, they stand out as a rare studio who have always treated staff with respect, offered decent contracts and taken care to nuture new talent. They've also produced some of the finest TV anime of the last few decades, as well as A Silent Voice, a very well received film about bullying and isolation.
I've had a pretty easy life in some respects in that I've never suffered from depression, never been suicidal, never had a serious illness and never had a close relative die from causes other than old-age. But even so, KyoAni's shows, which consistently have heart, warmth and humanity, have picked me up at the end of many a shit day at work. I'm struggling to grasp how anybody can get up in the morning and decide to go out and murder the people who made K-On, Clannad or Amagi Brilliant Park.
Sentai Filmworks, who handle the overseas licensing and distribution of most of KyoAni's shows, have set up a fundraiser to help the studio rebuild and help the families of the victims, as well as those who were injured (but not killed) in the attacks. Full Metal Furies is excellent, especially if you have someone to play co op with. The title makes it sound a bit shit but it's a really good Castle Crashers style game, mixed with occasional bullet hell levels and puzzles that are Fez-esque. -
