@neems If this is the guy I think it is , I was able to keep him in the centre room and not have him spawn the ads, trick was entering shooting him with a heavy weapons 2 or three times, then roll through him when he attacked , backed up a little , rinse and repeat, Essentially from the start you can bate him into staying on the platform, not summoning or running away Edited by DarkBytes at 18:44:46 22-08-2019 |

Registered 13 years agoOoh, the assault rifle is pretty tasty. I actually like all of the guns, which is handy.
Actually I haven't tried the coach gun, it seems a bit pointless next to the shotgun. -

Registered 3 years agoAs someone who uses the coach gun, it's fantastic. Actually had a really funny moment earlier with a boss who had been a real pain so I changed up to the coach gun and had a 'Holy Fuck!' moment when something unexpected occurred in the middle of the fight.
Things are starting to get weird game and story wise. It's a lot of fun!
I have yet to try the AR or the SMG, but the sniper left me cold because there have been so few opportunities to use it before getting swamped and having to fall back on the handgun. -

Registered 15 years ago@Addy__ Apparently it has balance issues in single player. From what I've read, some of the bosses really spike in difficulty. These comments are from souls veterans. I hoping it might be addressed in a patch as I'm super interested in this. -

Registered 8 years ago@Frogofdoom I just killed him there. I actually found some regular enemies I met before him to be tougher tbh. Those dual sword wielding pricks killed me quite a few times. Gorefist I just kept running upstairs, getting some distance in and then running loops around the level. Killed or rolled through any adds in front of me and otherwise ignored them. Normally when I was ready to turn and shoot him again he had some with him so I shot them as well causing him some damage.
Very much liking this so far actually. -

I don't think I'm in the mood for something souls like difficult. I'll wait for a sale. Need more easy going gaming at the moment. -

Registered 9 years agoIt's not nearly souls level hard but it has some souls level annoying shit. I've been the same mate, I loved sekiro when I started it but I'm not feeling very patient lately and constant deaths just wind me up at the moment. -

Seconded. A pretty demotivating first boss after really enjoying the game until this point. He would be okay - roll towards him, bang bang, run and roll - but with those adds: one wrong roll / bad positioning and you're fucked. Really annoying and cheap. And his health regenerates (is this the same for everyone or random in my world? It says "regenerator" by his name. Bloody annoying). -

Registered 8 years agoRegenerator sounds tough. I’m presuming hearty just means a bit more health. Which was fine. He went down easy enough. Regenerating health would have deffo made it harder. -
