Don’t worry, it will rain for 3 days at least once

I think DRS has as much to do with this as poor batting technique.....maybe.... I mean, before DRS your chances of getting out LBW to a spinner we’re almost zero.

There's one in the cricket group but groups are borked and no one new can join

There’s got to be an argument for dropping Broad after this game. He only ever does this once a series....

It was pretty dreadful. Clearly didn't know where his off stump was, unlike Smith!
  • Deleted user 1 August 2019 15:28:43
They managed to get to 50 overs.

Maybe Jofra will be the key to getting Smith out in the next couple of tests.

Root is a terrible captain - how does he still have the job?

I could understand when he was at the top of his game but I've not seen that Root for a long time.

    Shocking field for Smith.

I have no love for Australians but even I have to admire Smith's consistent excellence.

I think he's currently the best in the world in both 1 day and Test cricket.

Not sure what root could have done differently to be honest. He was without Anderson and smith is stubborn as a rock whenever he bats against england.
