Well guys, here it is, the Dual Shock 5, I mean Dual Sense: https://blog.us.playstation.com/2020/04/07/introducing-dualsense-the-new-wireless-game-controller-for-playstation-5/ Introduces haptic feedback to the triggers, much like the Xbox One and Switch. It will also have a built-in microphone, and the Share button is replaced by a Create button, which I guess will be more or less the same thing. Also, judging from the blog's careful choice of words, I guess the touchpad won't make the cut? Still that thing up there looks a lot like a touchpad. @Malek86 They do mention the touch pad when talking about the light going either side of it. -

Registered 12 years agoHmm. Saw the banner image, thought, "looks rather snazzy." Then I saw the full pic further down and for some reason my brain is telling me it looks a bit like the Ouya controller. Might be the sharper top... corners? Are they corners?

Registered 17 years agoI quite like it but it looks more like what I’d expect from a concept than final design.
Likely means we’ll get the black and white console, with blue light, which will jump out of your tv unit visually. That’ll look a bit shit if so. -

Registered 14 years agoI'm surprised that they are moving away from colored buttons. Maybe they didn't sit well with the white color.
Also, at this point I take it to mean that the default PS5 color will be white. Possibly with blue light. Very Star Trek 2009, which I would hate.

Registered 18 years agoIt's ugly as fucking sin. Gunna stick out like a sore thumb alongside all the other black pieces of AV equipment under my telly. I assume they'll have different colours, but that is a horrible one to use as the poster child. -
