@jimnastics The game seems to encourage 15 minute workouts, so I stick to that. Later worlds are upwards of half hour, so it would get pretty intense after a while.

Iíve been playing this a bit. After Wii Fit itís nice to see that this game actually genuinely works you out.

Also didnít realise it has friend list integration

I could do with playing this more regularly. Itís a really good workout and things like the leg crunches or whatever theyíre called absolutely kill me so clearly itís going to help me out.

Yeah this game rules. I'm at world 10 now and it still hasn't stopped introducing mechanics. It is a really good incentive to keep exercising and there are certain levels now that give as much exercise within it as any good 15-20 min session would previously give you. Been slowly ramping it up each week too just to push me on. I feel better for it too, feel more active in general. Just needed some incentive to do enough exercise rather than none at all and this ticks all the boxes. Generally, Overhead Squats or Mountian Climbing are ones that take the most out of me, but I'm sticking with them because they're just fun to do and probably targeting an area that needs working.

Aiming to completely one world each session, how are you guys playing it?
Typically 20 mins each night, opting to take a rest day during the week. Not sure what difficulty level I'm at again, around 25-30 I think. Typically opt to stop when the game prompts me to, but lately find myself going beyond that until I'm prompted again just because I want to make progress in the game towards completing a side quest or something.

Stock seems very spotty, when I checked Argos the other day they had it in stock for £65.

Iím on the fence about buying it. Is the game actually fun enough to be motivating in itself? Does it need a lot of room?

@Nazo It needs as much room for you to run on the spot, maybe be able to lie down and be able to extend your legs in front of you, and arms width around you. It doesnít need much really.

Cor, I've done half of the second world and I'm knackered. It really gives you a workout. Glad I got it now. Will use everyday for a quick session. Might do it before work.

It seems that some retailers are receiving limited stock, but then selling out quickly. Shopto had a few earlier...

Edit: They have a few left :)

Any fitness folk here got any thoughts on the seemingly low calorie count on this? I know there are a lot of people saying it, but I wondered if maybe we're all just a bit too optimistic and perhaps it is accurate...! I did 22 mins total exercising today, my heart rate was always either moderate or intense, total calories about 170.

@jimnastics I wouldnít read much into what it thinks your heart rate intensity is, itís using an algorithm which canít possibly relate to everyone. Heart rate is so unique which is why the 220 - age formula just doesnít work for so many people. Also I canít imagine detecting heart rate through a joycon sensor scanning your thumb is going to be great.

Do you know what your maximum heart rate is? What was it saying your heart rate was?

As a personal example, I wear a Garmin watch as I run a lot. My easy runs are around 150bpm.

A while ago I set off my Garmin to monitor my Ring Fit session and over 27 mins it suggested I burnt 108 calories and an average heart rate of 115bpm which isnít much at all.

I did a session yesterday and was shattered and could feel my heart beating fairly fast. Did the heartbeat thing and it said it was 72.
