Yeah, I don't think I've seen a saffa lager from the major retailers. Just savannah and amarula.

Just rewatched that first try, and now agree - it was definitely a (damn good) try. No forward passes there.

    Actually not sure tbh.

Think Shakas is still going in Camden. Might have to settle for that.

I've been in the car all day. That was a pasting by SA! We (ENG) had no plan B, or A for that matter... The plus, it was another final and it's a young team, something too build on and can only get better. But, ouch.

If there's something I've learned from this WC, it's that I really like watching rugby. 38. I'm 38 and never watched a game before a few weeks ago. Loved it.

That team know how to disrupt another teams game plan, you got to plan for a team like that and not think you can do your own thing and win it seems to me.

Butthurt Englanders claiming they’re not bad losers and arrogant.
    Bless.

Congratulations to South Africa, hope the knock on from the win, socially is huge.

Heh. Good point. 2nd tier sport sport deserves only minor dissatisfaction.

(Would still rather have won though)

Indeed - it was a well deserved win. England barely showed up - or rather couldn't adapt to the play and South Africa played to their strengths.

Met trevor ringland last night in a bar in budapest. Out celebrating his 60th with his family and he made a point to come over and congratulate me on the win (I was wearing a rugby top,) invited me to join them and bought me a drink. Lovely lovely man.

I know you have your infamous reputation to live up to, but why not leave this sort of comment for the football threads where lack of respect and real hatred between players, fans and officials is tangible? ... and a disgrace to the sport.

Have you ever been to a top flight rugby match?

... it also makes me laugh that your first priority in your comment is to gloat, rather than to praise SA’s excellent performance. Did you watch the match?

To be honest I dont think there has been a bad loser in this thread. Or in general. Whole of yesterday I had english guys coming over to congratulate me, and every single one said it was a deserved win.

Probably the best losers I have ever seen so I have no idea where ecosse is getting the butthurt stuff.

Just a bit teh bants guys, no bad losers witnessed in this thread.
And yes, I’ve seen Wales vs Italy in Rome and France vs NZ in Paris.
I missed the match, was at a mental festival in Japan at the same time.

I’ve been in Japan for 10 days and lost count of the number of times that Japanese have profoundly apologised for beating Scotland at rugby.
    Amazing people!

The way you go on about the Japanese apologising and how they can't do enough to satisfy your every whim makes you sound like a cunt.

They aren't your servants. They also think you are a prat, they're just putting on a polite face.

Really they are wondering if they cut you up and served you how they avoid the poison sacks.

Congrats to SA, they were stellar - amazing performance, didn't put a foot wrong. Gutted for England but have no complaints, we were outplayed from the off.
