Weird how they can't seem to get to the bottom of this, and how the recalibration doesn't help. This is literally what that should be fixing right?

Does the tester part of the calibration not detect the drift like the game does or something?

Anyone who has it on their out of warranty OG joy con just replace the sticks, it's a little fiddly but not at all difficult and costs < £10.
Where’s the best place to get them repaired from? I’m not sure Nintendo offer them.

Search amazon for joycon analog stick and you will find plenty of kits to DIY. I repaired 2 of mine for about 8 or 9 quid.

So I followed the spraying contact cleaner inside fix for my right joycon. It did fix the drift (for now) but has really effed up the Home button and the disconnect button in the side. The Home button registers about one press out of every three, and the disconnect button (the little one on the side) about one press out of every 20.

Does anyone know what might have happened? If I take the joycon apart would there be anything I could obviously do? I am assuming the cleaner sloshing around inside has either loosened something or moved some gunge onto a contact somewhere.

Sorry about the thread hijack OP.
