This quite amazing mod is out now, allowing you to play the game with an Oculus headset. It isn't perfect, but it's a lot of fun to roam around Los Santos again with stereoscopic 3d, and head tracking (it works surprisingly well in third person mode too.

A word of warning though: I'm normally pretty good with VR, but I was starting to feel nauseous after an hour of playing (though to be fair, that might have been down to my hangover!). Oh, and the cutscenes can be very messed up.

Cool stuff. Just need to get it for the PC and upgrade my ageing 970.

Does it have walking using the thumb stick? That’s generally what makes me feel like shit in VR. I either need walk around properly or teleport to feel OK.

Did anyone try this? Had a go yesterday on my new build (2070 super) and it's pretty amazing. The head pointing with the gun is a little weird but you get used it. It's really just amazing being IN Los Santos - just watching the world go by. I *accidentally* turned up at the bar and that's was weird. Haven't really explored outside of Franklin's immediate area as it also pushes the boundaries of comfort and I had to stop after a while. I'll go back to it and see if I can acclimatise myself more.

Am thinking of hiring somone to play these games for me. What i get for turning back on PC for consoles for last 8 years.

Same. I used to be on the pc all the time but I left it for a while. I'm glad it's a half life game though that's brought me back. And I've been needing to scratch the pc itch for some time.
