You look at WWE and then you look at how Japanese wrestling companies are managing this whole thing. Sighs.

I guess it's only big news due them being the only major sports activity still going.

I haven't really followed wrestling in years. Certainly haven't watched a show for at least 5 years. Just nostalgia for me. But this popping up on BBC news and the underhanded way it's been done is surely going to massively bite them in the arse

I'm surprised Vince didn't just ship everyone to Japan just for a crowd

I think for me once you've been bitten it's hard to get away from. I'm talking nearly 30 years of watching WWF/E at some capacity. I certainly don't watch RAW or Smackdown weekly, more check in on youtube highlights. But NXT for me is where I really invested a lot of time since it became its own thing. Now I'm questioning whether I should continue with it.

Iíve only been watching NXT and the PPVs. I tuned out of NXTUK after being really into it to begin with. I think Iím in a similar position.

Mania season hooked me right back in but from Saudi Arabia, the Trump connection, the Florida thing, treatment of staff before the firings, the firings. I know wrestling is an awful business with a long history of horrible shit but this is stuff that theyíre doing now.

NWA dropped the ball with Powerrr after it started so well too.

ROH and Impact donít really do it for me.

AEW might be the only game in town that hasnít trampled all over my enthusiasm (although I did unsubscribe from Talk Is Jericho after he had Donald Trump Jr on).

I guess Newcastle still has North and occasional visits from ICW too.

The amount of times I've said I'm done with WWE though... :( I am a WCW guy at heart though. And during the 00s I switched to TNA around 04-11 with a brief eye on WWE. So it's entirely possible I can switch off.

Even if you take away all the shaddy shit the WWE product is just awful. They barely even try to make it interesting these days and its three hours of boring regurgitated story angles from years gone bye.

The main issue is that the main at the top just can't get let go.

They may lack huge personalities like Hogan, Austin or The Rock but in terms of athletic talent this is arguably the best itís ever been too.

The matches can still be spectacular but Vince needs to let go.

I get that you canít turn Raw and Smackdown into NXT because they cater to different audiences but that doesnít mean they have to be so boring. Even letting the audience get guys and girls over instead of forcing corporate selections would be a start.

And The Revival released a week ago...

While I'd hate to see Cesaro get fired, he's the guy I'd most like to see get a run in AEW. You get the feeling WWE is holding on to him just so AEW can't have him.

Weirdly Noel Clarke is having a go at people on twitter about all this in some sort of defending WWE for their actions and saying AEW are just unsafe for having performers by ringside...

I've seen a few people shitting AEW but they filmed a months worth of shows weeks ago, state officials were in attendance to make sure they were abiding by the rules and they made sure that no fans turned up at the venues.

    Just watched this. Poor bloke.

I feel bad that my only real memories of his WWE stint will be the embarrassingly bad segments where he pretended to pee his pants or defended the 24/7 title in his pants.

Ridiculous but brilliant. If your show is shit without Arena crowds you may as well go batshit mental

Lol, I guess it doesn't matter how much they fuck up the building as they're due to move out of it soon.

They've postponed that move as part of their budget cuts.

They should also do Summerslam this year filmed from a beach somewhere. Shark match etc
