Steve Blackman was a total badass that literally nobody messed with.

According to Hardcore Holly a bag on the floor was the only that stopped Blackman from completely fucking up Bradshaw at an airport.

Was interesting plus they didn't just talk about WWE and WCW so guess Steve can have whoever he wants in the show.
Got to have another big reason for allowing it?

Be interesting to see if he ever has Punk on.
I reckon Austin, Taker, Rock and HHH can do whatever they want and Vince would never dare say no

Yeah possibly. According to Steve it was just a case of him asking Vince and Vince saying yeah great idea.

From what Jericho has said over the last couple years Vince has a lot of love for him which seems true.

One things for sure Steve won't have Moxley on again.

Moxley on Talk is Jericho with Jeff Hardy talking about conspiracy theories is one of the concentratedly stupid things Iíve listened to

@Baihu1983 I remember that story. I think the RAW announce team even mentioned it on air. Iím pretty sure quite a few people would have enjoyed seeing Bradshaw torn to pieces.

If Russo were true to his word on creating the Brawl for All just so he could see Bradshaw get beaten up, he would have paired him with Blackman in the first round. Steve probably has solid claim to being the toughest guy in WWF/E history.

A shoot between Blackman and Haku would have been interesting.

Chris Jericho's autobiography sounds interesting. Worth a read?

Iíve only read the first one which is everything up to his Raw debut so Mexico, Japan, Smokey Mountain, ECW and WCW.

Its a lot of fun and you kind of forget he probably put as many or more miles in than half the indie vets who end up in NXT and was doing it 20+ years earlier.

I've read three of his books, with the first one being the best. I got a bit tired of his writing style in the third one.. perhaps his ego coming through or whether that is just him. Also skipped all the Fozzy chapters as I have no interest in that.

I only know of the excerpts read out on Botchamania. He misremembers a lot of things.

Foleys first book is still my favourite from a wrestler.

I like Jericho but I do think he needs to call it a day. And yeah now and then the ego kicks in. Guy is still adamant that no one knew Owens would turn on him and everyone who says they did is a liar because the story telling was so great.

I disagree. I think he continues to evolve his character. I can't think of many moments in his career where he was overly stale, as he always knew when to get out and take a break. Probably one of the best careers in wrestling.

He does have an arrogant air about him but at the same time he's kind of earned it. It's a confidence

Heís so good at completely inhabiting a role its hard to keep track of where Jericho ends and the real guy begins.

Iíve got Foleyís first unread so Iím going to say Bretís is my favourite. Of the few Iíve read its easily the most complete picture of a wrestling life. Honest too, heís not hiding how he feels and really comes across quite badly at times because of it.

I know GLOW was something of an attempt but I still think and always say there could be an incredible prestige drama that could be made about the territories and politics and road stories of wrestling. Youíd probably have to tone down some of what happens to make it believable.

I think there is definitely a decent film to be made in the story of Bret Hart and Shawn Michael's rivalry. I'm surprised WWE Studios hasn't done it already. Basically it would be Rush, but with the Montreal Screwjob instead of Nicky Laude crashing and burning. Cast Christian Bale as Shawn and Guy Pierce as Bret. Vin Diesel can be Chyna.

I've been rereading Have a Nice Day. I read it back when I was about 19 so it's quite weird re-reading it as someone older than Mick Foley was when he wrote it. Things like him being devastated when none of his friends were able to come see him headline Wrestlemania - that's something you can only appreciate when you're in your thirties and friends start falling by the wayside.

Plus when I first read it the internet was so limited and things like youtube didn't exist, so you just had to go by his descriptions of the matches (and he admits his memory is a bit hazy after so many chair shots to the head). Now you can find all the events in the book on youtube and see how it looked on camera. The Nestea Plunge he did when he got squashed by Mil Mascaras was particularly brutal.

I mean in ring wise for Jericho. Looked a bit sloppy in the last few matches I've seen. Just don't want him to be one of those guys that holds on too long.

That WWE debut will never be beaten imo.

Jerhico is still good in the ring but he's better when partnered with someone else. I know his age is obviously a factor but he could do with shipping a few pounds.

There's only three years between Jericho and Edge, and obviously metabolisms vary and so forth, but there's a world of difference in their present condition. You get the feeling like Jericho is so busy with all his different projects he doesn't have the time to work out much anymore.

They do manage him quite well in terms of not totally burying the younger performers and last week's promo about MJF highlights that.

He can still mix it with the best of them but he's blowing out of his arse by the end.

Iím sure heís said that he only does DDP Yoga nowadays. Plus heís not afraid of the rock star lifestyle. I get the impression Edge lives a lot cleaner, especially trying to get back from his injury and build an acting career.

Thanks for all the impressions of Jericho's books! I may not have too much time to watch wrestling anymore but I love backstage stories.

Might get his first book and Foley's too.

Poor Joe. They never gave him a chance. Guess they just thought he was too injury prone.

Have to admit I thought Mickie James had already been released. Why the Iiconics though? They were entertaining.

And didnít they just bring back Bo Dallas? Thought I read he was involved in the Fiend storyline?

Crazy that Joe is leaving WWE with just two short NXT and US title reigns under his belt.
