Previews are positive - can't wait now.

@Decks Same. Still not quite clear where it fits on the spectrum between "traditional brawler" and "Soulslike", but the more recent materials look a lot better than the early previews did.

I've seen the combat described as similar in feel to God of War in a few places.

I wasn’t going to but the more I read about it the more it seems like an event game. I reckon it will be more fun playing it when others will.

I saw an ad at the cinema recently and thought it looked surprisingly great. Will await the reviews, but EA/Respawn seem to have rescued things since the gameplay videos several months ago when it looked like a certain 6/10.

Regardless of difficulty, it just looked uninspired. Like a slashy, poor version of Uncharted.

Fair enough. I liked how the combat looked more measured than force unleashed. There was always going to be platforming in a 3rd person game.

I don't know if it's just the general vibe of Star Wars at the moment, but I'm just not arsed about this yet, which should be fallacy for a single player SW game. The gameplay just looks so dull.

I think it’s biggest issue is none of the characters or the setup looks original in any way, a ginger, dull “Jedi” and some ugly bug-eyed “master” who doesn’t look Jedi in the slightest, Oh and don’t forget mr “boogaali”.
I currently couldn’t give a shit about any of them and that’s a fault of the creators.

It’s the gameplay that will save this which is still something of a missed opportunity to me, but at least we are getting better impressions on that recently.

Of course it’s Star Wars so I’m well in,
