Brilliant news, I imagine I'll be even more stressed with Nemesis following me with his great big boots. This will no doubt be a cross gen release I imagine. I wonder if they'll keep things like the auto dodge and the RNG from the start of the game which gives you either the magnum or the grenade launcher?

The HD version of the GameCube REmake still looks fantastic and holds up great gameplay wise

It's going to be well stressful, the Tyrant in Resi 2 was bad enough when you could hear him stomping about. On my first playthrough I hid in one of the save rooms for ten minutes just hoping he'd fuck off.

Nemesis belting it around the corner waving his rocket lancher about is going to be terrifying.

Hopefully they can improve the Tyrant AI a bit to make encounters with Nemesis even more terrifying.

They absolutely nailed the stalker aspect in RE2. Like Jack Baker in RE7, you never know when he's coming. Makes you properly shit your pants if you are in a dark room with headphones on.

So glad that Resi games are having a renaissance, they went proper cack for a few years.

Nemesis done right in a RE3Make could be the most unrelenting tense experience of any mainstream title

Done wrong he could be cheap as shit

Mr X was both depending how plugged in I was at the time but mostly he was great even if it was slightly immersion breaking taking huge looping detours to get him lured away from the room/puzzle I needed to get at.

I do have it in my steam library. Thinking about it, I've not played resi evil 7 either beyond the first hour.

You really need to correct that Addy, they�re both fantastic. I�ve not completed many games this gen but both Resi games are up there as some of the best. Nneither of them are overly long which helps.

@pacrifice you could turn on the old soundtrack on the remake so there was ambient music. Took away a bit of the creepy factor in most of the police station though.
