No growling "STARS" dialogue? Missed a trick there...

Also Jill looks way younger now, how old was she during the mansion incident?
    She's supposed to be 23.

And the mansion was a year earlier or something like that?

So a 22 year old Special Tactics And Rescue Service officer...How long does training take?

And I though Rebecca as the medic was pushing it at that age...

@Switch024 nice. Not so opposed to a first person view but I'd prefer over the shoulder, third person.

Re3 is my favourite, just going through the city and all the different locations. Looking forward to this.

Very much looking forward to this, Resi 2 was a looker. I imagine Nemesis will sound even heavier when he's walking about looking for me.

I only played RE3 for the first time ever last summer on my vita when I had one. I did enjoy it but don't have the same connection I have with 1 and 2. Regardless, it really does look good so I'll be getting it for sure. Need to get back on and finish RE2 mind you, got sidetracked by, eh, anyway...

It pains me, PAINS ME, that you're playing that shitpile Evil Within instead of the sublime Resi 2.

Wonder if theyíll remember to do Code Veronica before moving onto 4. Was always the forgotten jewel in the crown of the original games for me.

I don't know why people rave about Code Veronica. That was the descent into the more outlandish story elements.

Same. RE was always a bit absurd but this one stretches credulity beyond me.

The shift to real 3D made it play a lot clunkier than the original Racoon City set games.

100% agree. I think the remakes are going for that proper survival, gritty horror feel. I don't feel Code Veronica fits that bill.

    Day one no question.

No bullshit. RE2 remake is in my top 3 for the decade and amongst my favourite games ever. I adored the original RE2 and the remake just delivered all of the nostalgia but so pleasingly dressed in the luxury of modern game design. I adore that game. A sequel is a no brainer for me, despite the fact that i actually struggled with RE3 back in the day.

I know theyíve done RE HD but hell they might as well do RE and Code Veronica while the engine is there as well

+1 for Code Veronica being a bit shit. The return of Wesker was cool at the time but I can't forgive them for Steve Burnside..

Code Veronica is great, I really liked the stuff with Alfred and Alexia. If they could tone down Wesker and delete Steve it would probably be my favourite Resi.

I most certainly do. Cross dressing villains, a recreation of the Mansion hall in an Alaskan base, and a hammy death by Steve. It's like Resident Evil the pantomime.

Nemesis and Mr X should have shown up and sang a rendition of S.T.A.R.S so we could all cry; look out, they're behind you!

Edit, tbf I quite like the prison bits at the start.

The prison bits are really cool. Can't remember much else. A giant spider under the ice that used to freak me out and a boss battle in the fog. That's about it.

I will always have a soft spot for Wesker. He was a great villain. Now Steve in code veronica. He can get fucked. Theres a special place in hell reserved for characters that shit.
