I liked a couple of the bosses that couldn't knock 90% of your health off with a single hit. That doesn't leave many. Actually, one more pick and it's another cheaty one. Clannad. Original Japanese release was in the '00s, but the worldwide Steam release wasn't until 2015 so it still counts. The Dango song still hits where it hurts. |

Aside from that Skyrim had an amazing soundtrack imo. Some of the more gentle tracks were sublime.
Oh, and Metal Gear Rising. Cheesy but got the blood pumping. Some of the best dynamic music I've experienced, the way it kicked up a notch or had vocals come in for different boss phases.
