I don't think Roger Reedpop has much use for the forum though letting it die by removing moderation slowly surely isn't the best of ideas?

Registered 8 years agoErm a) I don't think Dale's even reading this or caring and b) he doesn't post much here these days and probably won't from here on much anyway as even in the politics thread enough has been said to him. If he does, which he has been a bit, I'm sure he'll carry on and not react like some are hoping.
Its not normal to do what he's done in the past, but a pile on only serves to make everyone else appear bitter considering he's not even responding. And he's not so there's no point. He's said some insensitive shit, but it was self centered sensitive shit, as opposed to outwardly malicious. That matters. A lot of us have been down some dark warrens. We don't think clearly.
I'm not excusing it, nor making light of it for those who are offended. I just don't see where else this thread can go to.

Then you wouldn't have to watch him post, he could prattle on into an empty room, and I could be spared of reading a million digs about heart cancer every time he says something. Constant pile-ons are irritating, even if the person "deserves" it. -

Registered 9 years agoFeel free to take your own advice for each and every poster. I will continue to express my disgust for someone who faked an illness that caused my mum to have every one of her teeth removed along with part of her jaw and 2/3 of her tongue. They rebuilt part of her tongue with some of her leg but said she would never speak again, she defied that and spoke again. She then went through radiotherapy which gave her severe burns and chemotherapy that made her ill enough to be hospitalised. It was then they realised that it had come back and spread through her body and killed her 2 weeks later. If it's ok with you I will continue to call out this cunt whenever I see him as after a stunt like that he should be permanently banned.

Registered 3 years agoI used the thread where this unfolded to share something deeply personal which I've never done before or since, and got some incredibly kind and important support from you cunts which I will always be grateful for, as I didn't feel I could share that with anyone else as was having to be 'the brave one'.
Then on the anniversary of helplessly watching my sainted mother effectively drown over two weeks in the hospital and lose the dignity that she so badly valued, while I was fruitlessly begging the doctor to let me help her finish her struggle, whatever Chris decided to do happened.
I don't need a hollow apology, I just need him to read this and understand why we're so angry about it -
