    1. Cthulhu Saves Christmas (PC) (11/1/20) (7.5/10) (100% STEAM trophies)
    2. AI: Somnium Files (PS4) (28/1/20) (8.5/10) (PLAT 29/1/20)
    3. Raging Loop (Switch) (12/2/20) (8.5/10)
    4. Sam and Mix Hit the Road (PC) (14/2/20) (7/10)
    5. Dead Rising 3 Untold Tales of Los Perdidos (PC)
    5.3 Chaos Rising (17/2/20) (7/10)
    5.4 The Last Agent (21/2/20) (8/10)

And finished off the last (on PC) DR3 DLC. Fun little epilogue to the tale. Save system caught me out at one point but finished with the side quests and main (not all the map icons though).

Still Playing Trails SC and FotNS as my mains.

    Hi folks,

Not been posting here but I'm still trying to get through at least 1 game a week. Here's how it's looking so far:

    01: Control
    02: Infinifactory
    03: Resident Evil
    04: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
    05: LEGO Builder's Journey
    06: A Plague Tale: Innocence
    07: Cricket Through the Ages
    08: Resident Evil 2
    09: Frostpunk
    10: Grindstone
    11: Metro 2033: Redux
12: Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham City
    13: Metro: First Light Redux

First year in a while where I've been ahead on the one a week challenge. I think Game Pass can be thanked for that.

    01. 06/01 - Cthulhu Saves Christmas (PC) - 6/10 - contest giveaway
    02. 25/01 - Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (Xbox One) - 7/10 - Games with Gold
    03. 31/01 - Paris 1313 (PC) - 4/10
    04. 06/02 - Knights in the Nightmare (DS) - 9/10
    05. 17/02 - Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition (PC) - 7/10 - Game Pass
    05.1. 19/02 - Final Fantasy XV Episodes (PC) - 5/10 - Game Pass
    06. 22/02 - World of Horror (PC) - 8/10 - Game Pass

As a D&D style procedurally generated RPG with several different scenarios, it's hard to tell when you have actually finished this. However, after managing to survive the standard activity (which wasn't easy at all), now the in-game achievement system says I've "finished for the first time". So I guess it counts.

Anyway, it's quite good. The graphics are amazing, and the mix of Lovecraft and Japanese horror works really well. But this preview version doesn't contain that many events and scenarios, so you'll see a lot of repeat stuff very soon. It also crashed often for me - understandable since it's still in beta, but since the save system is quite restrictive and comes with penalties, not to mention a playthrough will take upward of one hour, that can be an issue.

Very interested to see what it's gonna look like when development is complete.

    6. Assassin's Creed Directors Cut (PC) (25/2/20) (7.5/10)

23 hours and having done all missions in every location on maps (not the flags and not the templars, just did them as I saw them).

Never actually played this properly before so finally gave it a go. A few Xbone controller issues gave me a weird RT serving as both LT and RT but got through it all. I always liked the sound of the setting for this game so enjoyed that. Desmond scenes were sluggish and felt like filler. Missions were a little repetitive but not too bad for length of game. Story was quite fun overall. May have to play the rest at some point (only game I ever gave proper time to previously was Liberation HD). Lack of subtitles was a pain.

Still playing North Star and Trails SC. Not sure what will be next on PC.

Good storytelling, janky engine, and the feeling that your choices actually don't make that much difference to the outcome. Standard TellTale game then.

The latest Ben & Dan game. It's both platformer and adventure, although the adventure part gets the lion's share. And on that regard, it's one of the best written and most clever adventure games I've played.

We're still merely two months into 2020, and I already know it's going to be one of my games of the year.

It looks amazing, sure, but the puzzles are very easy and the platforming is nearly non-existant. In the end, it's almost a walking simulator in disguise. Which is not necessarily bad per se, but I didn't feel... emotional and stuff. Isn't this what it's all supposed to be about? Emotions? Not many of those. Sorry.

The art of course is the best thing about the game. Gave me a vague Iblard feel, more than 20 years after the PS1 game.

    1. Pikuniku 06/01
    2. Gato Roboto 02/02
    3. Arkham Oranges 17/2
    4. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales 1/3

Finally finished this morning after 40 hours, what a game. Loved the presentation, story and writing were great (I'd even say on par with W3), Gwent has been completely reworked and the puzzle battles add nice variation. Loses a point because of the ridiculous difficulty spike at the end that I ended up having to look up strategies for. 9/10

    #1 - 02/01 - Resident Evil 2 (PS4)
    #2 - 19/01 - Trails of Cold Steel III (PS4)
    #3 - 02/02 - The Last of Us: Remastered (PS4)
    #4 - 02/03 - Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PS4)

No idea how that took me a month to finish. First half seemed to drag a bit but then really got into it, finishing it after 46 hours.

Need to plough through To the Moon on Switch but just started AI: The Somnium Files which I am really looking forward to getting into.

Good Picross game with good touch controls let down by a bizarre and pointless waiting mechanic that seems left over from a freemium game. I wouldn't even have minded chucking a few quid at it to get the remaining puzzles since the game itself was free but it didn't have the option. 7/10

Kin el that was good. Bought it on Steam years ago but my laptop couldn't handle it, that's how shit my laptop was. So good to finally play it and yeah, got me right in the feels.

Still playing AI: The Somnium Files but also dabbling in Beat Cop, and bought Murder By Numbers...

Took a while to warm to but was great by the end. Great mix of elements of Dark Souls and Uncharted to make a genuinely great Star Wars game.

    1: Uncharted 1 (PS4) Beat on 23/01/19. Score 5/10.
2: Far Cry, New Dawn (xb1) Beat on 04/02/20. Score 8/10
    3: REmake2 (xb1) Beat on 10/02/20. Score 10/10.

4: Deus Ex Mankind Divided (xb1) Beat on 06/03/20 Score 9/10
    DlC content.
    4:A System Rift. 6/10
4:B. A criminal past both beat in 07/03/20. Score 7/10

Absolutely loved the main game. Brilliant acting, stealth, powers and really everything. The two dlc's were ok. A criminal past being the stand out. There is also "Breach" dlc but that is basically MGS VR missions, fun but not really for me. Surely we are new a new Deus Ex by now.👌

The bloke who writes these games is an absolute genius. Loved it as much as the Zero Escape series.

Still got Beat Cop on the go but that's a bit of a dip in, dip out game so need a new main big game. Choices are Bioshock Infinite, A Plague Tale, Medievil or Shadow of War...

@Humperfunk my favourite of those was Shadow of War. Definitely better than the average Ubisoft open world. I didn't even dislike the story as much as I expected. It's grandiose and probably too ambitious for its own good (you can see that they were bolstered by the success of Shadow of Mordor and tried too hard to top themselves), but it generally works.

    6. Doom '93 9/3

Picked this up in the recent Switch sale, holds up really well. Finished the first 3 episodes, attempted Thy Flesh Consumed and gave up on the 2nd level - mad difficulty spike put me right off. However as that episode was only included in Ultimate Doom onwards I'm still counting it as a completion :)

Started Shadow of War and found it a huge backward step on the first one, so quickly binned that and smashed through Bioshock and the Burial at Sea DLC. Really is an incredible game, loved every second.

Borrowed Jedi Fallen Order off of minky_kong so think I will start that tomorrow. Still working through Beat Cop and Murder by Numbers too :)
