If the Demon's Souls Remake is real and comes at the same time, this will probably be buried. -

Would personally prefer Sony/MS/whoever to spend years innovating in NPC AI rather than incrementing graphics every cycle. But, improved AI doesn't come across well on stage at E3 I guess. Remember when FEAR came out and how good the AI was in that? It's probably still one of the best demonstrations of intelligent bad dudes. -

Registered 17 years agoThis is why the Ms announcement of forwards/backwards compatibility of 1st party is especially odd - they’ve basically already told us the first year or two are a waste of upgrade money.
Now, I mostly expect that to be the reality of Sony software too, but announcing it a year before sale is a weird move. Why bother buying day 1 if you’re confirming that we’re only getting multi-gen. experiences? -
