And I am out, forgot that I had preordered Dreams on the PS4. So much do I was going to think about picking up a copy when I headed into town until the post man delivered it.

So.... even if you hadn't pre-ordered it, you were going to buy it anyway? You're out in all possible parallel universes. :)

Pretty much. I have enjoyed these challenges, but I loved the first two LBP games. Forgot that I had preordered it, would have went into town to get it had I left before the post man came and delivered it.

Chalk me up for Children of Morta please, Mr Breaker. First game purchase of the year!

What's a reasonable 'completion' target for that? Is playing through the story a sensible aim without having to commit hundreds of hours?

@DangerousDave_87 I could have lied and not installed it until after I had completed a game, but who would I have been deceiving?

    I'm incredibly tempted by Dreams.

But I remember the hype versus reality disappointment of Little Big Planet, I'll hold fire for now.

This thread is spoiling my fun / saving me money (delete as appropriate). I just can't bring myself to treat myself to anything new; ordinarily I'd have been tempted by so much.

December 12th. That was my last purchase. Haven't really played that one yet (Impossible Lair) though I'm sure it will make its way to my playlist eventually.

Even though IĎve already failed, this thread has made me move my retail therapy elsewhere. Which is a win. I think. :)

It's helped me cut back on purchases, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I still revisit old games between the new stuff. I've got Fallout Shelter on the go and Ring Fit Adventure on the side of my current listed games.

@DangerousDave_87 totally. That's what my run based stuff is for.

Iíve seem to have gone in the opposite direction and seem to be completing games every 5 minutes... But maybe itís because Iím playing smaller games?

On that note can I add and take away Gris. I didnít mention it as I thought I would finish it in a day and log it once i completed it, but played it here and there over the course of the weekend and this evening. Itís a wonderful game. donít think I played a better looking game in my life time. Art design is astonishingly and achingly beautiful. One to play on the big screen. Just brought and downloaded the OST too and see there may be an art book as well. My wallet hates me.

Making steady progress on God of War even if i'm yet to see a Valkyrie. I'd rate it good rather than great so far (half way ish), it's as polished as any game is ever likely to be but ever so slightly sterile as a result. And a wee bit repetitive. Still going to beat it though...

Yeah it was a good solid 8/10 for me all the way through. Didn't get the gushing.

The endgame stuff elevated it for me, but I also really enjoyed the ride up to that point. Definitely a cut above, if not the second coming.

Yeah a lot of talk at the time of release was that it was a bit sterile. Itís almost too perfect and a bit over designed. Still a very good game though. But after playing Jedi Fallen Order recently (which I found hugely enjoyable) it did kind of put into perspective how good GOW actually is. It does a lot of stuff we take granted well.
