Skyrim's not about that anyway, I was well over 100 hours I'm quite sure, and even then there was loads more to do! |
Oh, sorry, am I not helping?

Zelda link's awakening completed. Starting Luigi's mansion...
Unrelated (well, sightly related), but my 11 year old daughter has just finished her 3rd game of the year. First Donut County, then Oxenfree (she *adored* it), and now Spider-Man. Well done her!

Oxenfree is great. Find myself enjoying games where you hardly have to do anything and the acting sustains it.

Nier: Automata can come off. I got 3 endings. The other 23 can fuck off. Game is boring as shit.
Granblue Fantasy Versus can come on. Sprung for the HK version as still no EU release. Completion requirement for me is when I go to Brussels Major this year and drown 0-2 in pools. It's actually quite fun though.

Please can you add Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
And Witcher 3 to my ducks. Latter is a bit of a risk as I got burnt out on it last time round but had an inkling to replay it. And itís in the psn sale so!
Bichii wrote:I really enjoyed the game and it was let down a little by some crazy slowdown and a lot by the last dungeon and then the last puzzle just before the end boss.

The slowdown wasn't enough to be annoying but just enough to be jarring when it happened.
The dungeon and puzzle though just felt like cheap methods to increase longevity of the game.
Dungeon was an exercise in frustration where they clearly decided to increase the difficulty by having steps that jumped you all around the map making it nigh on useless to actually follow the map.
Then they gated the end fight by having a crap puzzle that has you walking in different directions out of a 4 direction cave. The directions are unique to your game and require you to have a very specific item to read a specific book in the library. Without which you won't know the directions this preventing completion.
It's still worth playing though.

This weekend I am finally going to finish Control
Now that I've said it, it will definitely happen
Ah.. so.. right, I might be in deep doo doo here.
My three slots are filled yet just over a week ago I activated the free 7 day trial of playstation now (since unsubscribed before payment comes out) I had planned to use it as a way to demo lots of games but the plan went a bit wrong as I enjoyed Lords of the fallen more than I expected. In fact I powered my way to the credits *just* within my 7 free days. It was squeaky pants time on the final boss as I took him down on my last sliver of health with about 30 mins to go.
So, oh Judge Duckbreaker and Jury Pigwhippers... does a game played to completion on the free trial count? If it does, then strike me down as the dirty knave I am. If not, then I shall slither my cheating ass onwards after a lucky escape.
I await my judgement.
Ooooh. This is fairly clear cut: shouldíve bust you at the two hour mark. But then, you went on and finished the fucker. So itís not like you exhibited a bad habit of just adding it to the unfinished pile of shame.
I could be convinced that this one is worth overlooking. Itís the other bastards in here youíll have to convince.
Perhaps if not an execution then maybe a punishment challenge?
Eg Blooming Dragon Age Inquisition has been on my slots for ages, the GOTY version no less. I can suggest that I would have to finish the game and ALL the dlc (there are three) before that one can come off?
Including beating all the Dragons that I gather are the superbosses.

I finished a game. I finished a game!
I'd like to remove Control please, Mr Duck. It's a strange one, it never quite grabbed me as much as I would have expected. Undoubtedly a good game, though.
And I'd like to, er, immediately replace it with Streets of Rogue, which I've had my eye on and is currently half price, so I'm in.
3 Switch games on the go now though. Need to polish off Astral Chain asap.
So Doom: Sigil is completed (if I am still in the runnings that is).
I didn't think original Doom would hold up after so many years since playing it. What a fool I was. Dated graphics don't ruin the sublime gameplay and the new episode by the original creator seems very well made in my limited opinion; a significant step up from the base game that's for sure.
Since it was only £1.99 with the promise of future free mods on ps4 I think that was a damn good bargain.
Add DQ11S to mine. Picked it up from ShopTo digitally on offer.
Q: if I were to buy AC4 Black Flag on Switch, would that count as one or two games seeing as Rogue is included? I wouldnít download or play Rogue until Black Flag was done... Need confirmation as the sale ends today!
On the bundle front, I would argue that it just fills one slot as long as you only play one at a time, which you obviously would in this instance.
Not sure if your slot would immediately transition to Rogue after finishing BF or only when you actually start it. Having played both I would expect a bit of seafaring burnout if you play both back to back. Since this challenge is about spending good time with your games as well as buying carefully, I would personally say Rogue goes on when you choose to begin it.
Yeah, if they come as a pair I'd just count it when you install it.
If youíre buying for one specific game in a bundle, the others become de facto backlog and backlog rules apply. So fill yer boots!
Cheers all. Sale ends tomorrow so still have a bit of time to think about it. Just been in a mood to treat myself since payday
Pokemon Sword finished, really loved it actually. The wild areas are going to keep me playing for a while after.
Adding Uncharted 3 to my list!

Put Two Point Hospital on my list please. I'm probably going to fail next month as I have 2 games on my list that are huge and Animal Crossing is out. Then after that Resi 3...
Thread should probably decide now how to handle Animal Crossing as it is technically endless.
Two Point hospital also seems great. I am only on the 2nd hospital though.
Playing for a full calendar year seems about right for marking Animal Crossing as complete, as it will take that amount of real time to see all the events and collect all the bugs and fish. Tough but entirely reasonable.
So essentially buying Animal Crossing reduces the free slot allowance from 3 to 2 as it cannot be removed until a few months into next yearís challenge. Harsh!
Perhaps paying off the mortgage on the house could be considered as an alternative completion target?

Yes, that is correct. I find it entirely fair. Although I have withdrawn from the challenge so my views are worthless 😁
Yeah, that sounds like a far better suggestion. Animal Crossing is a very relaxed game so I would even suggest that you're done whenever you feel you're done.
