E3 will continue. It was changing anyway, and they've already announced that the new format will launch next year.

Remember all of the mess Microsoft got in over game sharing on Xbox One?
Activate the game on your console, deactivate on anther, pay a fee to the dev, etc

Only to have Sony film this on the day of the conference and absolutely skewer them
