    Anyone travelling to Asia in the coming months? Of to Japan at the end of Feb. Donít think there be any issues but I can imagine travel advice updating advising all but essential travel in the more affected countries. Thailand and Japan being the two seems to have the most cases outside China.

    Think the coming week will paint a clearer picture of whatís happening.

    I hear some Muslims are saying this was 'Big Mo's' revenge for detaining all the Muslims in China.

    I work in an NHS Microbiology lab; we sent our first sample off for testing this week, thankfully it came back negative.

    This is only the second thing thatís made me a bit nervous (the other being the Ebola outbreak).

    We look a bit doomed: people can spread it whilst still being in the 14 day incubation window (i.e. they can spread it before they even have any symptoms).

    PHE have given out stupid advice: ďif concerned ring your Microbiology labĒ so Iím expecting all the Karens to call us because they sneezed after eating a Chinese takeaway.

    I wish I was on one of the flights back from wutang clan. We're putting up those lucky fuckers in a military base for two weeks, free meals, free laundry, no worries, just jerk it all day to midget scat porn and eat the free food.

    @sherpa1984

    The CDC have stressed that so far there is no evidence at all that Corona virus can spread while incubating. The virus is from the same family as SARS and that only transmits from the lungs when the person is showing symptoms and coughing.

    Also, I really don't get why people are treating this like the Apocalypse. It has what looks like a pretty low transmission percentage and it's mortality rate is sub 3% and that almost exclusively in the elderly. Symptoms can be mild for people who catch it.

    It's only killed a couple of hundred, ordinary flu killed over 5,000 in the US in just the first two weeks of this year and no one is acting like that is terrible.

    It might mutate and it might not. Any flu can mutate and that is what we should worry about and not this thing.

    We're all avoiding Corona, right? Drinking Becks or equivalent if we want piss-quality lager?

    Can't be too careful.
