Nah. Had a most epic 50th in Dec before lockdown. Whenever that was.

Edit: 51 was a bit shit.

FFS my canton has managed an amazing 74k vaccination doses so far, 15k fully vaccinated out of 1 million, at the current rate of 4k doses a day I'll be dead of old age before I get mine.

Quite enjoying the anti-vax smooth brains "shaking with rage" about the idea of vaccine passports. Also they tend to be alt-right dickheads as well.

There is no forced vaccines and what do they think will happen if they do go abroad and get the virus and spread it about there and bring it back to the UK. Then again thinking its not their strong point.

Both my parents and my in-laws all vaccinated now.

Mrs Maybe’s folks have been fine but both of mine have been knocked out by side effects. Mostly headache and general body pain by the sounds of it.

From the people I know who’ve had it it seems like you either get none or you’re bedbound

    Indeed…

Our brains hold clues for the ideologies we choose to live by, according to research, which has suggested that people who espouse extremist attitudes tend to perform poorly on complex mental tasks.

I had a minor sore throat after my vaccine. Virtually nothing at all. Will see after the 2nd dose, which seems to knock people.

Had my 1st vaccine yesterday at 10am and by 6pm I was shaking with a fever that got worse until around midnight. Then massively overheated for an hour before getting some sleep with the help of painkillers and now 24 hours later my whole body hurts and if I move my head to fast it feels like its been left behind! Had to take the day off work.
Still, rather these symptoms than actual Covid...

I felt just a little bit off, and had some arm pain. Nothing much different from the flu jab really.

Aren’t people who’ve had it the ones who get heavier side effects?

    They are all tainted beasts.

Yeah I've been kinda hoping I get that level of fever where you can strangely enjoy it.

I've got absolutely no idea how I'm not a drug addict.

I think the first step is to recognise how much youd enjoy it.

I had no side effects after my first jab a couple of weeks ago. It was the Oxford one.

I remember being very ill after getting my first flu jab years ago, it felt like my blood had turned to ice but I was also burning up. Horrible.

Now had 2 cases of people my wife and I know who have both been admitted to hospital for Covid.

One a school friend, so same age (43) - just been released - told he has textbook covid lung so needs to go very easy - no prior health concerns.

The other is a science teacher with my wife - younger than us and now on oxygen. No prior health issues either.

Heard of more reports of younger people than before, getting it now.

I had a bit of a headache, a sore arm and some general aches/stiffness. Couldn't tell you what brand of microchip it was though, I didn't look at the paperwork.

That's why there's a shortage of silicon chips. It's all being used up for the vaccine nanomachines.

Just be prepared to be out of action for 24-48 if you are given the Astrazeneca jab. We're seeing high levels of people reporting moderate affects from Oxford doses and low levels of moderate immune responses from Pfizer's. It goes without saying though you are a fool to reject an Oxford jab when offered.

All adults in Wales will have been offered a first Covid vaccine by 31 July, the health minister has promised.
Hurry up you bastards, I'll be rocking up like a smackhead just out of prison.

A guy at my work has just been offered the jab, he's under 40 and has no underlying health issues. He's a bit confused as to why he's been offered it. His wife has also been offered it and is a key worker .... in ASDA.

    WTF!

@Gibroon Shirley you’d agree with someone working in a supermarket being classed as a key worker?

Anyone who still has to ‘go’ to work should probably be a higher priority.

It just seems to be all over the place. Mum got hers done around the corner and was informed via a post. Mine was through a text from my GP and I've got a few miles to travel.

Speaking to a friend of mine in Liverpool and she was saying that she knows people with various medical conditions who have not heard anything.

The news is dancing around it a bit but it seems to rely on how dumb the rest of your local population is.

Your area gets its allocations and if your postcode is populated with anti-vax morons, you get the jab faster.
