Some of us aren't that old and have the jab for underlying medical reasons (where COVID would likely be even worse because of the condition). :)

Take paracetamol (if you can, speak to the NHS on 111 if unsure) - it helped me quite a bit with the headaches, fever and aches and pains. I only had four sweaty experiences the second night which resulted in four changes of pyjamas ....

Good luck with the wedding, hope you feel a fair bit better by then.

It wasn't bad for me either, I felt moderately crap and bloody tired (only had two hours of sleep that night when the vaccine side effects started) but I've had far, far worse of the same kind of symptoms with the flu.

I would advise against feeling any nips whatsoever this close to the wedding.

Who has 5 pairs of pyjamas?

@RobAnybody I worked the night shift before I had mine, and went back to work that night. I think having to go to sleep straight after probably helped. Some people that had theirs, then tried to carry on their usual routine said they felt really bad. Whilst I did feel pretty awful, I could still manage to answer the phone and do the PC work.

I was Laing a lot of aspirin and paracetamol as well. I was told that they help a lot with the after effects.

@Decks Star Wars. Thomas would clash with my Star Wars bed clothes. But I do like trains. It is a civilised place to get drunk.

I do ....... although three of them are really old and decrepit and just stuffed in the airing cupboard, only to be used when desperate ..... :)

I've never owned PJs. I sleep very hot, so wearing something would see me completely fucking melt.

Having spent over a year in sweatpants and PJ's at this point, I think the bigger question is whether I've got any normal clothes left to wear now.

I remember when I was a kid, it was really ďuncoolĒ to own or wear pyjamas. Iím glad I didnít carry stupid things like that into adult life. A good pair of pyjamas will
Keep you warm on cold nights and cool on hot nights. Very pragmatic. But here we are, in a world of pyjama shaming. 😄

    In the neighbour's garden.

Is that like when swimmers use goose fat? So you don't feel the cold? When you sleep under the stars? In the neighbours garden?

I've been on two tests a week for ages. Their effectiveness is shite, I gather.
