Yeah, that "extremely thick" makes it seem likely that we'll end social distancing in June.

I like the social distancing on the whole. Makes shopping easier, less crowding. Was kinda hoping we'd keep some aspects of social distancing. I mean, for good.

I hope we're not going to be expected to fucking hug everyone when all this over too.

If the NHS booking app is showing no appointments nearby, you might want to open and close the app and refresh the page etc. It was showing no appointments at the nearest place but I went back a page and clicked search again and they all came up, plenty of appointments on every day and time.

Oh shit, managed to get one booked for tomorrow afternoon. Booked into the gym tomorrow night, how long does it normally take for things to get dicey?

Took about 10 hours for me. Started feeling it whilst working out... was pretty unpleasant.

That said, mine was a workout where I was set to a particular power target. For a gym session you could just go a bit easier if you started feeling off.

I felt really tired within about 2-3 hours. Had to sleep after about 6. Felt feverish and shivery after 12. Following day felt rough, sore and exhausted. I would say don't plan anything else for that day or the next day. You probably won't feel up to gym activities.

I felt a bit cold for 5 minutes before sleeping, and had a couple of afternoon naps the rest of the week but fine otherwise after the AZ.

It's actually a 2 hour lon kickboxing class (which shouldn't strictly be going ahead but anyway). The owner is a huge conspiracy theorist so if I collapse in a lump of blood clots all his dreams would have came true.

Next day you should be fine for blood clots.

It's a massively vague between 4days and 4 weeks window.

I'm expecting to swell up with clots like Deacon Frost at the end of Blade. Then him to dance around me like Gollum when he finally gets the ring at the end.

Had my AZ at ten this morning and other than feeling a bit grogged I'm all clear for side effects so far, with the night shift yet to come. The only weird thing I've noticed is an unusual floral smell from my cock, somewhere between lavender and lemongrass. Called NHS 111 and they said it's nothing to be overly worried about at this stage but wondered if anyone else had this or similar eg basil, mint, rosehip etc?

Going to have a wank later to check my cum hasnt taken on an unusual flavour. When I had a flu jab a couple of years ago it tasted of vanilla fudge. Was actually totally delicious.

Careful propping your legs up so you can wank straight into your mouth- all the vaccine might rush to your head leaving your lower half unvaccinated.

@richardiox This is normal. It's a feature they've added with these vaccines. You'll be on the default flavour right now - spring fresh. You can change it by tweaking your bollocks. You've got chocolate brownie on the left, cheese & onion on the right and smokey bacon if you tweak both at the same time. Push them up and in to go back to the default.

I had the Pfizer, so I don't get that. The jukebox function's pretty neat, though.

Had my AZ vaccine, the staff was so good, friendly and had the process down to fine running schedule. Slight pain in my arm but ok so far. No super powers yet

It takes 24 hours for the 5G chip to register itself.

No but I do feel a bit zoned out. Like I'm waiting for an ecstasy tablet to kick in or something.

A reminder that the vaccine isn't magic...

But the government is now reimposing restrictions to bring the virus back under control amid a surge in cases. The country has recorded around 1,000 active cases, a third of whom have had two vaccine doses.

Pretty worrying and it's problematic our UK vaccine rollout has coincided with a long lockdown so it's hard to parse what has had the bigger effect on bringing our cases down.

Although in the case of both the Seychelles and Chile - both with new outbreaks despite high Vax rates, they've been using Chinese vaccines with lower efficacy than AZ and Pfizer.

@richardiox Yeah, while we need to keep an eye on stuff like this, I think the Sinopharm factor here may be the key one. The trial data coming out of China has been questioned and there are also doubts that the product shipped out is actually the same as the product that went through trial in some cases.

You can also add the UAE to the list of countries still struggling with infections after using the Chinese vaccines. The data out of Israel, which is all Pfizer, is much, much more encouraging.

Er, itís supposed to go in your arse mate, did you move as they were jabbing it in or something?

For future reference, anyone yet to get a jab- it goes in your backside.
And theyíre really in a rush, so loosen that belt and when you get up to them make sure you spin around and drop everything pronto, before bending over in their face. You need to be really close too as it helps lessen their arm strain over a day.

    Just trying to help 👍

Are you insinuating that China may be full of bullshit? I mean this is unexpected.
