That just seems like really bad luck
Spectacularly, as a department we’ve had maybe four cases in this whole time and now a whole team goes down in one go right when its assessment and exam season

I know it shouldn't surprise me by now but yikes at the number of people who don't spot that's a snap filter.

I figured makeup or fake tan, guess you don’t even need to go to that much trouble these days.

I actually did the tanlines to myself quite badly at an amusement park a couple of weeks back. The only positive was that I'm wearing my mask when I go to places anyway, so the only person who could laugh at what a dickhead I looked was the other half at home.

Look at the strap lines on the beard as he talks and turns his head. Unless he's got particularly liquid skin that ain't right.

Coming out of self isolation tomorrow from the first visit into town for 12 months. Sods law innit or someone forgot to flick the t&t switch on and suddenly people are being notified. Anecdotally heard someone else was notified about the 30th May "encounters".

My Barcode Battler stopped working 17.3 hours after my first jab of AsteroidZemeckis.

I'm not sure if it's related though.

Track and trace has been nothing but a fucking shambles. Never engaged with it. Dido Harding can fuck off.

Jenny Harries replaced Dido in April, when *Test* and Trace and the Joint Biosecurity Centre merged into Public Health England to become the UKHSA.

Good to see Harries at least got some reward for repeatedly going on TV and saying whatever bullshit Johnson wanted.

That's no way to speak about the future NHS England Chief Executive!

£37,000,000,000.00 is nothing these days! A drop in the bucket. Why it's only the GDP of a mid sized country!

A working app would cost three times that!

    (Edit damn you zeros!)

Can pay £37bn for a tracing system that is shit and does nothing, can’t spend more than £50 extra per child for education or pay £4bn in foreign aid.

For others who have booked the second jab via the “official” site, at any point does it reference it’s the second? I saw no hints that it knew of my status so avoided finishing the process.
It didn't when I booked. At the centre they asked if it was your second dose.
    Sounds good then.
I did work through to the penultimate stage where it did recognise it was my second and provided a reference number. Bring on Monday afternoon \o/

So the Trace part seems to be shit, but isnt the 37bn also paying for all testing (and hasnt all been spent yet), including genetic sequencing of every positive test. That is not cheap...

People are fucking idiots. I remember getting coins to stick to my forehead and arm when I was a kid and didn't have a next gen 4K console to keep me amused.

Yeah, but it renders your train ticket unusable so you have to get a replacement all the time.
