    The biggest issue is the testing. It's idiotic that we aren't testing in vast numbers.

    We have companies shipping millions of tests out of the UK because we haven't set up the infrastructure to use them in sufficient quantities.
    Yeah the related sector of my company has exported intermediate products to Germany and Italy.

    What did they do during Spanish flu? People just worked through it with facemasks and got used to people dropping dead, wasn't it?

    A less sentimental time.

    Yes. Although my statement above was in regards to the deleted message above it which argued I was wrong about billionaires being able to relocate because Amazon still operated in Italy.

    In terms of billionaire self employed people. I think they are generally able to live anywhere too.

    I'm not sure how we dealt with the Spanish Flu is a good model to follow.

    It was during the Spanish flu outbreak of 1918 that Niven became known beyond Manchester. As a deadly strain of influenza spread across Europe and the rest of the world, it was Niven who pushed a simple – though unpopular – health message that kept many more Mancunians alive than inhabitants of other UK cities: close down society as much as possible to stop the spread of the disease.

    I read this on the weekend.

    @TechnoHippy
    He warned that “discharge from nose and mouth should not be allowed to get dry on pocket handkerchiefs”. Infected articles and rooms should be disinfected, he ordered. Anyone who caught the flu must “on no account join assemblages of people for at least 10 days after the beginning of the attack, and in severe cases they should remain away from work for at least three weeks”, he said.

    So that Spanish flu extract seems to have misunderstood the infection route but the guidance of staying away from other people is the same.

    It's quite sobering that the pattern of response seems to have been mostly the same. In the US, at least in some states, you could be shot for refusing to wear a facemask, and at least one person was.

    I'd quite like that in place for the arsehole "leftwing media fuss about nothing" cunts nesting all over social media.

    They could shoot all these fuckers for a start or maybe have a videodrome signal buried in the video stream to thin out the global cunt numbers a tad.

    I consider myself quite cynical and jaded these days, but these fucking melts really do make me angry in my gutty wuts.

    I don't see any melts in that link - just a good group of people with their eyes open, woken up to the real deal.

    I looked at the video author's website - It's a conspiracy after conspiracy - Clocks, Numbers - I mean, I'm not sure how these people leave their basements if literally everything is out to get you.

    And obviously, the website is monetised with ads...
