Not a huge fan of WOTW but to compare it to ID4 is laughable. I dont see ID4 as a leave your brain behind film, I find it insulting to my intelligence. there is so much wrong with it to even start. /rant over WOTW is quite good. Needed at least one epic battle scene but I see what Speilberg was trying to do. |

Thought it was a very good entertaining film right up till the very last few scenes. Typical Spielberg nonsense ending. The kid was at fn ground zero ffs he should have died. Gah!
When is he going to learn ...

Registered 18 years agoJust convince yourself he imagined Robby was still alive due to extreme stress! In fact, maybe everything after being grabbed by the Red Sphincter Of Death was an illusion he dreamed up whilst having his blood sucked out. You know, like Terry Gilliams film Brazil...

Totally agree. Maybe those who says its cack didnt see it at the cinema first where its truely one of the great experiences. Its no less brain dead than any Superman movie, or Indiana Jones (ok so that one had humour on its side, and better acting, but I'm talking about plot and premise).
