Registered 15 years agoLanding on Metacritic with an initial score of 66 does not inspire confidence.
(I know that metacritic is not the be all and end all of how good a game is, but you'll be hard pushed to find a 66 that's worth a Day 1 purchase) -

Registered 16 years agoSounds very No Man's Sky. They wanted to deliver so many features that many of them ended up Not Very Interesting (TM) and the game lacks any real hook to keep you playing.
NMS did get fixed, eventually. May the same could happen here. -

Registered 17 years agoI thought this has been looking pretty ropey for a while. Was hoping it would surprise me but unfortunately not.
There are some positive reviews floating about and I guess something a bit average is perfectly playable. Just a shame it didn't land better. May still pick it up as I fancy something else before Ratchet drops in a couple of weeks. -

Registered 2 years agoI'm a bit burnt out with open world games at the minute so I'm kind of glad it's a bit meh so I'm not tempted to play it ASAP.
Might be improved with a few patches by the time I get around to it. -

If you're in the mood for something like this you could do a lot worse than picking up Fenyx Rising on the cheap. It looks extremely pretty on next gen and the combat is a lot of fun. I usually bounce off Ubisoft stuff but I enjoyed it quite a bit.
