The transparent ones are cute, but to be honest I didn't really find being able to see the insides that useful whilst I was learning. It's all down to feel really.

Did my shopping this morning at the local Tesco and there was TP for my bunghole, although only bulk packs, so I now have enough for the next 3 months :-) Plenty of milk, but no pasta or beer.

That lock pick set looks cool.

However, I doubt is will get you through the latest eurocylinder 3 star locks. The old ones were easy to snap, the new ones have a sacrificial snap, plus magnetic anti pick devices. The key actually has magnetic disks implanted in it to turn the lock. They are so difficult to get open that I realised that if I somehow locked myself out of my house I would be seriously screwed, because there would be no way in other than smashing an upstairs window.

My local pub has just dropped the last of their bottled lager on my doorstep - very kind of them. It's a tequila beer I've never tried before, but better than the nothing I managed from the supermarket.

It's just a bit of fun, I have no doubt a decent modern lock would be a ballache without a powerdrill.

I just picked both of those transparent locks in 10 seconds each, first try :) Not the highest security

It would be good if pubs started doing beer deliverys. Or even started stocking crates of bottles/cans that people could pick up.

Then supermarkets could concentrate on food.

@Dirt3 Indeed - it would also provide them some income while they are forced to be closed to the public.

The transparent ones are also easy as fuck. I can do any of those in seconds, but really struggle with real locks. I need to find an intermediate version.

I've got a Majestic a 3 min drive from me. Usually stacked to the rafters and hardly used at all. You'll pay a premium but it'll be worth it!

My dad likes those. A few years ago, we went to a funeral in deepest, darkest yorkshire and the wake was at a miners welfare.

My dad asked for a bottle of desperado's and the barman replied 'Where do tha think tha is? Fucking london?' and did him a pint of carling.

I'm trying to get my dad on to the priority home delivery list due to his health, but the phone line is absolutely rammed.
Rammed as in at the BT level, "We are unable to connect you, you have not been charged for this call"

I've avoided excessive stockpiling of most stuff, but have enough booze in to see me good now for a very long time indeed.

I bought a keg yesterday. Discovered it’s far far too easy to just keep going back for a “little top up”. Thick head this morning.

Booze it vital because if it all goes really south then at least you can have a couple of days of being completely hammered before the world implodes. And strong liquor can be used to make potions and stuff. See Witcher 3.

You've got to drink it all up though before it spoils. How long will a keg last once its opened ?
