Registered 4 years agoOkay first two levels done. Nightmare difficulty is err a nightmare. Still not got my aim in yet, the controller input is pretty twitchy. It's basically doom 2016 but a bit more mental. There's story there but I'm ignoring it as it's just boring demons talking about taking over earth blah blah. -

Registered 18 years agoAye, Nightmare has always been a genuine challenge in Doom games even for strong FPS players. I tend to go one below just because I find it less stressful. But might revisit on Nightmare after. -
Revan can do nightmare with one hand whilst she finishes Nioh 2 with the other hand. -

Registered 4 years agoOooh the slayer gates are juicy. I've died a few times in one and it's had the cheek to say if I'm struggling I can return to them at a later time when I'm upgraded. NEVER! I'm beating this now. (Slayer gates are optional area battles that give you juicy upgrades if you can clear them). -

Registered 4 years agoBit too much wild platforming. Melee is now pointless until you've charged it. The story is pants.
However the exploring is great fun and the combat amazing like last time. As I goto work though my main feeling is rage. The end battle of mission maybe 4 is fucking horse shit on nightmare. Can't remember the last time I was so pissed off on a game. It throws every prick at you in the game in a tiny arena. -
Yeah I'm hoping mine unlocks after 11pm. -
