Also, since MSí first party titles also have to run on the original xbox one which has a transfer speed of 0,060 GB/s they will load much faster than Sonyís first party titles. Another advantage for team green.

But then they would need a decompression block so that it doesn't bottleneck. And they haven't got one. Or they would have said.
Do you mean the one they built custom that they specifically mentioned in the talk?

Probably best you just watch the video again.

I always wanted a Saturn - used to play the demo station in HMV. On the day I actually went to pick it up my mate told me to buy the PS1 because his sisterís boyfriend had one. No idea why I listened to him but I did.
Sorry bro, your mate pulled a fast one on you. He probably bought that Saturn instead, and then every time he saw you play on the PS1, he would laugh when you weren't looking. smh

This article is by far the most in depth look at Velocity Architecture out there. It's extremely eye opening. And the sort of in depth look I expected Digital Foundry to do. But for some reason hasn't bothered with.

    Added it to the OP.

They actually went to MS hq for an exclusive look and didnít mention this ultra important thing. They are obviously biased.

    Your move Sony.

    Here you go fella:
    https://www.tweaktown.com/news/71340/understanding-the-ps5s-ssd-deep-dive-into-next-gen-storage-tech/index.html
Thereís a whole section in there dedicated to talking about the decompression block. Look at the specs at the end of the article too. Hint: the speed numbers are still bigger.

I love that you wrote this in your OP by the way:
I honestly think people haven't actually researched much into this at all.

Phil just tweeted the 3rd launch title, it's WinZip.
They had it up and running in a matter of days, and they hope it'll be the first title running in 8K.

@Fake_Blood it still shows a registration window after 14 days. But at least now it's in 8K.

As I tried to point out. Ex Sony developer says Series X advantage is quite staggering. But it's still possible to make good ganes on PS5.

I also love how heís given up on the SSD speed, which was the whole point of this thread, and switched to Ďoh yeah? But itís better at ray tracingí.

Well I'll be LOLing at all the Sony shitstation owners come christmas while there playing there games in 4k, 60fps with fast loading times and ray tracing, I'll be playing the sexbox which also has all of that but even more 4k'y and more 60fps'er.
Who's up for a game of Fortnite? I'm killing it this season bro.

There's really no need. Devs not linked to the Sony reveal have come forward and said categorically that Series X is substantially better.

Not the PS5 secret sauce is gonna be more powerful THAN Xbox. Just creating a rod for the disappointment early.
