Any of you chaps taken on this operation before?
Ideally I'd like to go for a larger mAh but have no idea where to buy one. The 2/3-star selection on Amazon leaves me feeling cold too. I think its a Gen 2 model controller (CUH-ZCT2E) that came with the PSVR bundle on release if that makes a difference.

I haven't but I have popped open the DS4 for other reasons. The battery would be easy to replace, it's easily accessible and is connected by a little plug so it can be removed easily, however I personally wouldn't put a 3rd party battery in.

I asked recently and got tools to put any old thing in. I didnít, I connected my controller to a low output charger for a day (500mah) and it eventually came back to life .. my controller was gen 1 from a launch console.
