So with the lockdown meaning I'm spending 99% of the time in the house I'm in the market for a new pair of slippers. My Xmas 2018 pair have finally given up the ghost.

Anyone got any recommendations for a pair that's served them well? After some with a heel rather than the slip on style. Amazon is its usually minefield of fake reviews and sub par products..

If you don't get a pair of the moccasin ones with the little laces on top, you're dead to me.

I like my Mahabis. You can wear them heel up or down.

I don't like slippers. Feels like my feet are in cages when they should be out and proud in the home. OUT AND PROUD.

And that was the day that ReedPOP closed down the forum.

I'm on board with Jambo. Pair of warm socks, but never indoor shoes.

Where do you stand on those sock things with grips on the bottom?

You stand IN them rather than ON them.

    Stop doing socks WRONG.

House with children. The pain of standing on toys is real. Plus we've got wooden floors. I'm all about my previous (dead) pair of slippers. House socks / slipper socks are for amateurs. FUCK that.

These are a hard pass. How do you run and slide along the floor/around corners when you have stupid grippy things?

I've been buying Fly Flot's for years now ever since my missus bought me some for Christmas a few years ago, they last a good while and pretty comfy. I actually bought three identical pairs off eBay last year, I live life on the edge.

The summer Muhabis are the perfect slipper imo. They look great are comfortable, they don’t make my feet sweaty and you can wear them a bit outside too.

I was not aware of Mahabis or FlyFlots. My slipper ignorance is shameful.

My slippers are too warm, I need something between cosy winter slippers and flip flops.

After taking a quick look it's not ignorance. Mahabis are 80 quid upwards (I dont care what they're made of for that) and flyflots aren't slippers.

Christ, I've been thinking yesterday: "I need a new pair of slippers soon, I should have a look online".

And behold, EG delivers. We can stop pretending this a gaming forum now, right?

Still haven't made a purchase, can't bring myself to spend over £30 but every time I read user reviews of cheaper pairs there's people complaining about them falling to bits after a couple of months.

Mahabis do look good but yeah, bit pricey.

Just want some good wanking footwear, should it be this hard?
