Registered 17 years agoDay 3 done. That was a good progression actually. No way I could have done that had I not started my other challenge way back so interesting to see it scaled up. -

Registered 10 years agoDay 3 done. Just about managed it. I'm surprised actually - I thought I'd be dropping the knees just after 30.
Obviously my form is perfect throughout. If anything it's even better in the last few reps. Anyone who says different is a fibber. -

Registered 6 years agoDone. Double sets start tomorrow which shouldn't be too bad. You think you're supposed to be doing them straight after each other or with a bit of a rest? -

Surely doing it right after makes it a single, bigger set.

Generally you'd be looking at 3 minutes rest if you want to basically reset on it.

I was going to leave 60 seconds max. That’s what I’d do between reps at the gym. Or Maybe it’s just as soon as you get your breath back.

If you struggle with that you could switch to incline / on knees when you hit failure point. -

Registered 17 years ago@RawShark 60 seconds yeah. Although I do get creative with the time-keeping on occasion.
People need to be looking ahead to the start of the decline sets too and make sure they have something to put their feet up on. -

Registered 17 years agoGood ideas both but I will stick to using my ikea play mats that fold up to a good height.
I was worried about the non-gym bros out there not knowing what to do. -

Registered 6 years agoI've never really felt a huge difference with incline pushups. I was thinking of maybe doing wide arm push ups instead. -

Registered 15 years agoDecline no? Incline are the easier version.
Decline targets the upper chest / front delts more. Maybe you need to make the decline more extreme? That, or maybe you already do handstand pushups and you find them trivial anyway.
