Are we on Day 8 or Day 9 today? I cant recall...I think I have 2 sets of 35 to do tonight. Its so tough being an ironman and remembering days.

Ok Decks you need to start each day with an announcement of which day it is and what we are doing.

Is anyone noticing a size increase yet?

    Engorged.

@TechnoHippy I remember noticing a big difference when I was doing the starter course I linked previously. Haven't noticed as much of a change now thought.
I reckon that is because I wasn't putting on mass but was toning up what was there originally and that naturally tails off pretty quick.
I have been googling 'massive gains' all day here but nothing simple is coming up

A rather more serious response than I expected :-) Kudos to those of you sticking with it though. I'm not sure I could manage one proper press up.

get on it man - the simple program is just that, simple. I am no fitness guy but even I have found doing some press ups each day rewarding and not as tough as you might think.
Not to be too presumptuous but it can do your brain a bit of good too

I have enough pain day to day without deliberately introducing more into my life!

In honour of my long tradition of not being told what to do, Iíve sacked this off and am taking things at my own speed. 60 each press ups and chin ups today plus ran 6k. So Iím think Iíll decimally match my run with whatever press ups etc I do, 5k = 50 press ups / chin ups etc.

I cannot do those diamond fuckers. I donít have it in me.

I struggled with them for ages but once I got them down they've become no worse than standard pushups. Just sting the triceps a bit more.

I do OK with diamond, which is odd as I always thought my triceps were shit. Need a good amount more core involvement too I've found.

I'm dreading the diamond days, that's when I will really suffer.

Maybe that's it for me too, my shoulders are largely fucked.

Did you injure them in a freak press up accident?

I did actually make one of them worse by doing too many pressups. Fucked my right rotator cuff.

DAY 9 IN THE BIG BRO PRESS-UP HOUSE
The work-out mates are all feeling the pressure of impending diamond press-ups.
Psychotext is trading workout-war stories to establish dominance over the beta males (Decks mainly) while FGSG has been called to the diary room to pick up his tits that he burst off in a drunken press-up session the night before.
    There is weeping from somewhere.

Done this morning and I've been trimming tall hedges all day with a lot more still to go.

    My arms are fucked.

My boobs feel a bit tender but my arms aren't too bad. My right shoulder is pretty fucked off repeated dislocations and that's starting to play up a bit though.

I'm amazed every day how the ramping up is just that little bit too tough. I can manage, but it's generally right at the edge of what I can do.
Which is great. Despite the initial uproar it seems to be a well done program so far.
    Bring on the 45 later.

It might have been, had they smartly decided to do what you lot did and added a rest day...

Many have called it the greatest 30 day press-up challenge ever conceived.
