Being bored my housemate and I have started rewatching old sporting events, trying to make up for the lack of anything live. I need suggestions (also am here to offer up a few.) What are the greatest matches or moments worth rewatching and chatting about with friends? Last night we decided: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9D2rFMPN9js - Ronnie O'Sullivan, fastest ever 147. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soJXFjzwWVI - Japan beating South Africa in a world cup. then my personal favourite: (We watched the full match last night) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lD-mqVq4Kmc - South Africa demolishing England for a world cup win. Any suggestions for tonight? I am tempted by something to do with Michael Dunlop, Tiger Woods or a sport I know nothing about, like Netball or Basketball or something. |

Something more happy - the Ryder Cup comeback in 2012 or the Cricket World Cup win last year. -

Ridiculous match. Got to add the whole Taylor Vs Barneveld 2007 world final in there while we're on it.

Registered 11 years agoSome more snooker ones off the top of my head:
Stephen Hendry's clearance in the final frame against Jimmy White in the 1994 world final. Bollocks that probably have their own orbit.
Also Hendry, his 147 against Ronnie O'Sullivan in the deciding frame of the Victoria charity challenge. For context Ronnie had staged a massive comeback from 8-4 down and had played Hendry off the table for a long period immediately before that point. -

Great shout. Gonna watch this myself tonight. Maybe some of the value is gained from having a bit of cycling knowledge as to why it is so ridiculous though.

Registered 9 years agoAs a Leicester fan - our 3-1 win against Man City in the title win. Just...that was the game we knew it was on. Bit of bragging - I eventually met Robert Huth in a cafe near Stockport and dropped a bollock. Best I could muster was asking for a handshake.
Then Hazard's goal vs Spurs in the 2-2. He's an honorary fox for that one.

Sometimes you dream about darts matches and you wake up and realise no it didn't really happen and it's not really happening and it's just some sort of TUNGSTEN FANTASY - but this is really happening in front of your very eyes!
