Couldn’t find a thread for this. Resident Evil 8 or, as it’s now officially called, Resident Evil Village is coming out soon with PS5 or soon after it should be fun but the question is will it have VR Support??? I hope so anyway !! Sony pay Capcom loads for this please !! |

Registered 14 years agoPoor reason to choose a name for a game number 1 - because the Roman numerals for the number it is in the series kind of fit in to the word.
Despite that I think it is a good name. Pretty much brings to mind the setting with one word. -

Registered 15 years agoI like how the game is shown off and all anyone talks about is the tall vampire milf.
RE7 was fine but seemed a bit too long and enemies were boring and Ethan as a protaganist even more so. Hope this game took lessons from it and makes it a tighter experience. Doesnt quite feel like a RE game, its like a different horror series entirely. -

Registered 16 years agoYou could merge all the info dished out in the ship and the mine and happily cut either of them. There’s a noticeable dip after you leave the farm and both drag the arse out the game a bit.

I think First Person can work really well for horror games, especially in the Penumbra/Amnesia mold.
In terms of RE, weirdly the one I struggle most with returning to, due to the camera, is 4. I find it borderline unplayable these days.
